Campsite-set up 2 full size tents comfortably, 3 fold chairs, 1 tree hammock. Our site, 48, had electric and water. The water had a old fashioned pump style faucet. I had to muscle it to get the handle to return to the off position. Best part of the entire campsite: bugfree. Ant free. Mosquito free. Checkin was simple. Stop at the entry. Give them your info and tag number. Get your pass. Display it inside the vehicle while in the campground. We hung ours from the rear view mirror. Then turn it in when your stay ends. Easy peasy. Staff was friendly. For our site, the distance from the spot to the bathroom was a short walk. I wish there had been a closer bathroom for the lakeside spots. When you shower be warned, when another guest flushes the toilet get out of the stream you about to be HOT for a few seconds. The lake was beautiful. When the sun went down the campground got quiet. It is a great hidden gem! You have to purchase firewood and ice. There is a gas station nearby where you can purchase both. Walmart is close by as well. Bonus: we got to see deer in the campground! Overall, for tent camping it was a great place!

Great campground with many good lakefront sites. We were on site 59 (not lakefront / handicap site) only because it was the only one available at the time. Not perfectly level, but not too bad with help of levelers. Enjoyed watching the deer. Sadly previous campers left lots of cigarette butts. Nasty. (Maybe why they're handicapped?) Bathrooms very clean (right across from our site). I swear lady was there cleaning them every time I went! I told her so and thanked her. :) Hosts at gate helpful and friendly too.

Having the boat ramp closed right next to campgrounds was a BIG pain, should have made arrangements for us

Love this site. It is so pretty, the lake's always so picturesque and typically so peaceful. We have stayed here several times. The only complaint would be related to noise, and I am not sure of it's origin. We were on site 50 but could hear pounding music till the early hours (around1-2am).

We arrived Friday afternoon and by Friday night the camper was full of ANTS everywhere!!!! They were outside AND inside!! Spent over $100 for spray for inside and outside. Have camped at Victoria a lot, but NEVER encountered any ant problem. Had reservations for September but decided to cancel, because I just wasnt sure the problem would be fixed by then.

The front office is wonder as usual. This is the second visit that I have stayed and the yards have not been mowed. Grass is up to your knees at the campsite. Fallen trees everywhere not cut up and removed. It's such shame the way the campground is being maintained lately. It is such a nice place on the lake but looking really bad as far as the sites.

Awesome Park and very nice employees. Location is perfect and Woodstock is a nice little town that is close enough to Atlanta yet seems like a totally different world, in a good way. Lake Altoona is a pretty lake.

Victoria Campground was conveniently located for me to visit my family. My site was level and spacious. The beach was clean and easy to access. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was no camp store, so be sure to either bring your own wood or be prepared to go foraging for branches for your campfire. I was very pleased with the campground for what I wanted to do which was simply have a relaxing weekend. Lots of shade and space. I will definitely go back.

The host were super helpful & friendly. We had problems with our coach and they were accommodating and understanding on getting out of there on time. We had to wait on a RV specialist to come get us started. Thanks for your understanding.

Friendly and helpful staff. Campgrounds are clean with plenty of room and stable utilities (power & water). Sites are easy to access/pull-into. Access to lakeside beach and boat ramp.

We had an amazing outdoor adventure at Victoria Campground! Our campsite was Site 10, where we soaked in breathtaking views of the lake and caught glimpses of wildlife roaming nearbynature at its best!Our journey took us into Woodstock for a tasty lunchheads up, parkings paid, but totally worth it. We dined at Canyons, where the food and the atmosphere were top-notch. Then it was off to Canton, where we explored the charming downtown and had a delicious meal at P.O.P.S.a hidden gem!The rest of our time? Pure camping bliss. We kicked back, relaxed by the fire, and let the peace of the campground recharge us.It was the perfect mix of adventure and tranquility!

We've been camping for more than 30 years and this by far was the best experience we've had. Not only is Victoria Campground a well-kept beautiful place to camp, relax, and enjoy all that it offers, the contractors/rangers are incredible. Roy, Misty, and Rangers assisted us and our camping buddies through an extreme and serious situation as well as the Rangers. They made sure we had what we needed to get through it and still have a nice stay that was initially a 5-night stay that turned into a 12-night stay. THANKS Roy, MISTY and Rangers for all you did.Todd and Diane Jax, FL.

We were on Site 13 in a 40 Class A. The site was off level both front-to-back and side-to-side but we made it work with boards under the appropriate wheels and jacks. Extremely long driveway offered good privacy; pavement was pretty broken up, but passable. Beautiful view of lake, marina off to the right (visible from site) was closed for the season so it was ultra quiet. All campground roads were in very good shape. Bath house was surprisingly clean over 4th of July weekend, kudos to the staff on that. A few yahoos with fireworks, but law enforcement was pretty quick to shut them down. Again, kudos to staff. No soap or towels in bath house, not even an air dryer. I guess washing up after using the lab isnt a priority. Nor was there any hook to hang a bag on if you brought your own. Staff was very friendly and grounds were reasonably well maintained. Loved that there was great access to shopping and restaurants, yet it felt like we were camped far from civilization. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The bath houses were well kept and clean. The Host was very good. He was kind enough to give my grandson a bike to ride. It kept him busy when he wasn't swimming or fishing. The campsites were nice and well kept and spacious. Enjoyed the visit.

Gate personnel are super nice. Grass super high but understand cuts are effecting this, just gives it a natural look. Bathrooms clean. * dogs on beach almost everyday* on one three nigh stay there was a bunch of internationals surrounding us and they keep walking through our camp site and was loud a couple of nights. Overall you will enjoy your stay at this campsite.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
