Sweetwater Campground in Bartow County is located just 29 min east of Cartersville, GA with an elevation of 850 feet. There are a total of 150 campsites including 42 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from mid March to the beginning of September. 108 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 23 and 78 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 63 sites have electric and water hookups. 45 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $24.00 to $290.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, swimming, flush toilets. Activities include fishing.

The Crew there is spectacular! They made me feel very welcome. The place is clean and tidy. Every campspot looked good. The bath houses were always clean and everything worked. I had no issues of anykind. Security went by several times each night. I like that. My site had plenty of room for my tent. I worked with the folks at Recreation.gov to find a campsite to bridge the gap beteeen my time there and the next campground I was going to. There were no issues of any kind. The transmission from my spot on 14 to 31 went very smoothly.I will be coming back Thank you for having meCapt Mike Worley

There was broken glass and bits of trash all over the beach area. People need to clean up after themselves. The bathroom was kinda gross and no hand soap. The campsite was a good size.

Other reviewers complained about this site and the large rock in front of it. I backed in a 28 ft TT with an F250 on the first try. Have a good spotter and get your angles right, youll be fine. Otherwise the campground is really enjoyable in early April. The water was low and calm. Perfect for kayaking and fishing.

Always great at Sweetwater! Right on the lake and it was so nice. Wi-fi was great with my Verizon phone and hot spot.

When I first thought of RVing, I dreamed of places like Sweetwater. I wish I could have stayed longer. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. My site was perfect with a view of the lake from my living room and bedroom windows. I highly recommend Sweetwater for the peace and quiet.

Lot 30 is a horrible site! Its so unlevel that my bottom step was 28 inches off the ground making coming in and out a chore every single time! Also a huge pine within 3 feet of the RV pad at rear needs to be removed.

Very clean, quite. The water and electricity all working as should. Easy to park RV and set up. Picnic tables were great. Fire pit cln. Staff were friendly and helpful. This was our 3rd trip here and will return again.
