WARNING, WARNING!! Worst Site EVER-I'm sorry, we love Sweetwater and stay there often. This site is ABSOLUTELY not for a TT over 20 feet long in my opinion. We have a 30 foot TT which is well within the length allowed per the description and we had an awful time pulling in AND out of this site. There is a BOULDER across the road which makes it impossible to maneuver into the site!!!!! Love Sweetwater, hated this site!!!

The camp ground was very nice clean and peaceful. We stayed in site 93 has a great view for just sitting and looking out over the lake. The only negative would be the big rock that is positioned in a way that it takes some time to get the camper in. I had a 27 ft trailer and it took about 20 min to get it backed in.

We stayed the weekend of April 15 through the 17th. This is our first time at Sweetwater. We reserved site 93 based on the proximity to our friends across the road and that it accommodated our 29 foot RV. Our friends who arrived earlier, told us that getting into that spot was going to be extremely tricky , and they were correct!! It is a beautiful spot, but it was very difficult to back into the site. There is a large rock/boulder and a site marker across the road as well as a ditch with a several foot drop on each side of the driveway of our site. After attempting for about 20 minutes, other campers came out and helped us get it backed in. It still took about 45 minutes total. My husband is extremely proficient, but this was a site that a lot of the other campers said that they were glad that they did have to back into. My advice would be to only reserve the spot if you have a smaller camper and/or have the time, patience & ability. Other than this experience, our stay was perfect! Highly recommend! We will definitely be coming back, but using a different spot.

We have camped here a lot over the past several years as we have a boat as well. Bill the volunteer at the front gate was very rude and downright nasty because we had some issues when changing camp sites. He is obviously not a nice man as he spoke to us very rudely and told us we could just leave if we didn't like him. We still enjoyed our stay but he definitely made us having a mishap with our boat trailer and not getting off the site until 3:20 pm seem like we were the worst people. It was terrible to be spoken to like that by a man we had to see for the next several days coming and going from the camp ground. He is not a nice man angry ??

The bathrooms are in need of some updating.

Hosts at the beginning of the week were very sweet. Hosts at the end of the week were a little rude.
