Beatuiful, tree-covered sites. Quiet with clean bathhouses.

The people here are really kind and take tremendous pride in their work and keeping the grounds clean and safe.

I love this campground. Its right on the lake. If your campsite doesnt have water access, its a short walk to it. You get a free pass included to both the public beach and the camp beach. The only thing I could say that needs to be worked on is the bathrooms. A way for campers to clean up after their selves better. Clumps of hairs in the shower and not a good way to dry your hands. There is soap now though! The improvement is coming along.

This campground is so beautiful with picturesque views of the lake. . Our campsite (like many others) are at the edge of the lake Altoona and had nice table and firepit with grill rack. The lantern stand was perfect. The water tap and electrical outlet functioned properly. The bathrooms were impressively clean. Due to time constraints we only stayed one night but would have been very comfortable to stay a few more. I would recommend this campground to anyone looking for a peaceful/calm/low intensity excursion.

Bathrooms were outdated with rusty faucets and fixtures and dirty appearance of shower stall. Secondly, closing the gate at night presented a significant concern due to need to exit in the night with a medical urgency. It took the grounds host a little too long to wake up and then get the exit gate opened.

Dirty campsites and very dirty bathrooms. Dumpster areas dirty and the pads need to be cleaned. Bring a rake and air blower to clean your campsite. The last person that used this site left trash and food all over the place. Fire pit wasn't even cleaned.
