We love Holland Lake and have been going there for years. Kirk is the best campground host there is. He is so kind and thoughtful. He wants every camper to have the best experience that they can, no matter their expectations or interests or abilities. He runs a clean camp and always, always has a smile.

Really nice lake and big camp sites. We weren't harnessed by bugs. Bring your own toilet RV The Porta johns badly in need of cleaning no hand sanitizer.

The lake is amazing, so good for two stars, and the site and BR were very clean so a star there but this place is so loud all the time People let their kids yell all hours, with zero consideration At the beach, fine, but at camp, nobody wants to hear your kids screaming all day and night If there was anywhere else open i wouldnt have camped here again, but i had the reservations so went hoping it would be better than last time I ended up leaving a day early because going to work was more enjoyable than camping here Never again Oh and site 14 has one spot for a tent, right next to the driveway, on basically gravel so not a good site if you plan to tent it Serviceable, but not great

Stunning location and the camp host, Kirk was awesome! Really friendly and helpful. The poor rating is because the bathrooms were heinous. Full porta potties. Trash. I expected more for the price of the camp site.

Always a delightful experience at Holland Lake Campground! The hosts are the best I've ever had in all my adventures... great hospitality.... exceptionally clean restrooms.... and great firewood for sale.

The lake and campground were fantastic but the Recreation .gov site and the way they allow people to take advantage of booking for weeks is a joke. The campsites were half full with reserved posted on the empty ones that no one used, every day we stayed there no one came in and used the site. but they were booked what a waste for those who drove through there countless times shaking their heads looking at all the empty booked sites. Crummy way of selling sites. Big joke folks, fix it please.

We love camping at Holland Lake, but until the sewage problem is resolved, the campers will continue to deal with portable toilets in the Bay Loop campground. They are cleaned/dumped WEEKLY on Tuesday. By Saturday or Sunday, they are getting pretty full and hard to handle. Tuesday morning is unbearable. During peak season, at least a 2nd round of cleaning/dumping should be added to the rotation.

Spots 8 and 11 at Larch Loop were both great! Easy access to the chore, campground quiet and clean. Be ready for nasty mosquitoes! Natural repellent doesn't seem to work there.

Site 7B was nice with trees and some shade with lots of open space but the noise from other close by campsites was prominent. This site is not convenient for a trailer to just pull into as a pull thru due to the placement of the table and the one way road into the site. In order to have your doors align with the table you would have to access the site from the opposite direction. The camp host can control traffic which isn't much.

The best lake in all of Montana.

It's too expensive now. The rate has gone up consistently year after year. The rates are pushing out average Montanans like my husband and me. We've been going there for 30+ years. It's sad.The port-a-potties, while an understandable solution, were gross. They needed better daily cleaning and emptying. They were way full when we got there and disgustingly full by the time we left.The host was nice.

Great campground, very well maintained.

No boat launch. Site says there is one, but it is a stretch from the truth. There is a put-in, but its not even three feet deep. Its pretty difficult to get your boat off the trailer when it isnt in water.

IDK, its a family campground so theres tons of loud kids around, not doing anything wrong, just being kids, but yea loud BRING BUG SPRAY and theres no boat launch at campground so ya gotta drag your kayak or whatever a good ways to the lake Nice hikes in area and lake is awesome, but this is not the place for quiet reflection IDK its fine but will be a while before it crosses my mind to come back

The campground was great, and most fellow campers were courteous and respectful. Unfortunately, always one bad apple who spoils it for everyone else. One guy camping right next to camp host had two large dogs running around off leash. Camp host did not appear to do any intervention.

Holland lake is beautiful as always- we love this place and will keep coming back! However, this time the bathrooms were disgusting (possibly from forest service cuts) and mosquitos were bad!

Our stay at Holland Lake was enjoyable but the restrooms need to be fixed

We always enjoy our trip to Holland Lake, (despite the mosquitos in June). The camp host this year, Mike was exceptional. He was a very welcoming gentleman, and was always present doing something around the campground. Our site was clean, and trash cans emptied promptly. However, we certainly look forward to the toilets being back up and running. As always, we will be back. Thanks for a great stay!

The campground was in great condition! The bathrooms were spotless and the hosts collected trash from the receptacles numerous times a day. The hosts did a much better job than the ones who were there a couple years ago when we had visited previously. It was a fabulous spot as always!

Disappointed the dump station was closed. And the toilets were closed. There were portable toilets. The weather was great. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Always enjoy going to Holland. I hope maintenance gets done on the lodge.

Lovely time of year (October) to visit. Campground clean and vault toilets were well maintained. Campground host very helpful, pleasant and available. Able to bike, hike and kayak. Hope to return!

Holland Lake is beautiful! The campground is quite rustic: the roads are rutted dirt paths between campsites and the back-in and pull-through parking are far from level. But, many of the campsites are large and quiet with lots of space between neighbors. When we were there, the fire pits and tables were clean and the vault toilets were freshly painted and stocked. Sadly, there is a feral cat problem. The camp host told us that the Forest Service will trap them and take to the humane society if he sees them or is told about them.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
