Lovely time of year (October) to visit. Campground clean and vault toilets were well maintained. Campground host very helpful, pleasant and available. Able to bike, hike and kayak. Hope to return!

Holland Lake is beautiful! The campground is quite rustic: the roads are rutted dirt paths between campsites and the back-in and pull-through parking are far from level. But, many of the campsites are large and quiet with lots of space between neighbors. When we were there, the fire pits and tables were clean and the vault toilets were freshly painted and stocked. Sadly, there is a feral cat problem. The camp host told us that the Forest Service will trap them and take to the humane society if he sees them or is told about them.

It was clean and the hosts were amazing and so kind to our kids!!! The bathrooms were spotless at all times!!! This is the best run campground Ive ever been to!!! As a Montana native I was discouraged how hard it was to score a camp spot but it was 100% worth the effort!!!

Sites are spaced well apart, great for privacy. We were in the Larch loop and it was beautiful and serene. Campsite host Art was a character. We wanted to stay another night but he couldnt find us a space. It was smoky from local fires but what can you do?

Holland Lake Campground is a beautiful area. Very clean. Val the camp host was very helpful. I kayaked the entire lake and got some great pictures. Hiked to the waterfall. I will definitely go back.

Loved the spacious camp sites with good privacy between sites. My only issue was the pull-through site we reserved was on the wrong side of the one-way road through the camp ground, so the door of our RV was facing the road instead of our camp site. I had to turn my large vehicle around in the camp ground which was not easy in order to re-enter our pull-through from the other direction. When we departed I had to leave the campground by driving the wrong way on the one-way road. Everything else about the campground was great.

We stayed in site #7 and it was awesome for tent camping! It was a very large, and while across the road from the ones right on the lake, we enjoyed the privacy. Plenty of space for more then one tent and perfect tress for a hammock. The larch trees here are impressive and make for a beautiful setting. There was a path right across the way down to a private beach with no one else either day we were there. Holland lake is one of the most picturesque lakes in the area and a hike up to the waterfall gives you incredible views back toward the Mission mountains. Highly recommend!!
