The portable toilets after the 4th weekend were near to overflowing and were not emptied until Tuesday midday. They are only being emptied once a week. They ran out of toilet paper. We have always loved our past experiences at Holland Lake Campground. We have been going there since 1964. This kind of soured us. Don't know if we will go back or not. It is sad when you have a family tradition for 50 + years.

Holland Lake has been a gem stone for our camping experience. The beauty of the lake and surrounding landscape as well as the calm and serenity of the camp has met all our expectations for a continued location where we can come and enjoy nature. Maintaining the camp site and surrounding area in a low density and pristine condition will continue to keep Holland Lake one of our favorite locations to camp in Montana.

Beautiful spot in the Swan Valley!

Beautiful campground and the sites were large. The camphost cleaned the bathrooms at least three times a day. They were also very good about being visible in the campground. Can't wait to go back next year. The only downside is there is a lodge right next to the campground and the owners were very rude, don't waste your time or money on that establishment. The only hike we took was to the waterfall and it was well maintained and great view of the Mission Mountains.
