Great corrals for starting off a backcountry trip. Really appreciate that they are reservable and that there is a water source in them. Thanks USFS!

Nice campground. Clean vault toilets and good corrals. Mama Grizzly and cub came into camp. Be prepared! Riding was phenomenal and would return. We were only people in camp, which made our miles a little edgy but loved the remoteness!

I will start by this, we came come California and what a great experience, we brought 4 horses rented the corrals and it worked out great. There was water for the horses room for them to stretch out. Camp site was roomy enough for our 40’ living quarters. The trails were amazing upper Holland Lake run was well worth it. I would recommend maybe having some better trail maps and maybe even some better signs on the trails for since of directions as to we’re trails lead. That was a little complicated but we figured it out, much thanks to Koby from one of the outfitter boys on site. He was very helpful. Now for the NEGATIVITY!! The camp bear, there is a camp near on-site and was told this bear has been on site for a couple years. This bear has become very domesticated, and this needs to be addressed I seen 2-4-6-9 year old kids wonder this camp and this just don’t seem safe to me, of course I can handle the bear but unfortunately it’s just a matter of time before this bear does some damage he is way to comfortable and has obviously taken over the site considering we seen him ever night we were there. He needs to be relocated somewhere or killed before he kills someone’s else and then it’s to late. Park Rangers need to make this happen ASAP before some bad happens and it’s to late. Sounds like he’s been running this camp for a few years and that don’t seem right. Not fair for the bear or the campers. Just my opinion!! Other than that I definitely plan on coming back!!

The reservation system for Owl Creek was VERY misleading! Unless you have animals that need a corral, no fee should be collected as per the USFS employees that we spoke with.

The camp site for live in horse trailer was limited . The cabin occupants would not permit parking adjacent to corral . No instructions as to where to park horse trailer . The trails are impossible . There is a one way yield practice and must yield to up traffic the in morning and yield do down traffic in afternoon . the trails are narrow with limited space to pull over .. Must go back down the trail for a pull off spot . Outfitters pretty much rule the trails sand be prepared for a lot of outfitters . They won't move over for anybody . Guess they feel it is their trails . Recommend renting the cabin at the same time .

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
