Summer weekends get busy and noisy, but mid-week is wonderfully quiet. It felt like we almost had the lake to ourselves when we were there Tues and Wed. Plenty to do within a 15min walk or drive. Very nice and welcoming camp hosts. Great spot!!

First time there and it was a nice campground. The lake was nice, no power boats or jet skis. Had a great time with the paddle boards and kayak. The fishing wasnt that good though.

This is a delightful, small camp ground that calls you back year after year. The new camp host are so welcoming and keep the camp in wonderful condition. The only reason I didnt give this particular experience five stars was because of the late noise of our neighbors generator. The lake is so inviting for people of all ages.Thank you!

I love the small size of the reservoir, no motorized vessels allowed. This promotes a family friendly campground. Restrooms were always clean and well stocked, campsites and parking also very clean.

Good time but wrong site.

We always love coming to this campground! It is clean and mostly quiet. The campground was busier than usual this time, but it was still lovely! The campground hosts were delightful! They were so helpful and kind. I cannot wait to go back again. This specific site was convenient. The foot path to the creek was a stones throw away. And a short walk to the reservoir as well.

Camp was less than half full in the midweek directly after Memorial Day. Bathroom clean. Camp site large and shaded. Beautiful weather. A little buggy especially down near the reservoir

Having a site on the water is a recipe for people to walk through your site. There needs to be signs apparently, telling people to not walk through reserved sites. People reserve 6 months in advance only to have really selfish people decide to walk onto your site right by your tent/RV (talking loudly, with screaming kids) in order to get to the water more quickly... and then argue with you about it. Unreal. GO TO THE DAY USE AREA! Maybe USPF should implement a quiz before allowing people to camp - Question 1: If you haven't reserved a good site, do you get to (A) walk through the site whenever you want? or (B) realize that the site is occupied and paid for by someone else? Question 2: If you bring your children, do you (A) let them run anywhere they want? or (B) keep an eye on them so they don't go where they aren't suppose to? Question 3: When you are at your own home, would you like someone to (A) walk right in your house and scream? or (B) be a good neighbor and respect the home you have worked hard for?Bathrooms were as clean as they can get, but by the end of the season the flies are crazy. If we leave the doors open and the seats down, the flies are manageable. Someone left the doors closed and yellow jackets were in 2 bathrooms. The upgraded trail and bridge are beautiful (toward the Angel Creek Day Use Area). And the short trail from the CG toward the dam with the Nature Signs is wonderful. Highly recommend to read the signs and walk the trail to the overlook at least once. Really interesting facts.Camp hosts are great. Mid-week seems to bring the thoughtful veteran campers, and weekends are less than ideal in terms of quiet and respectful neighbors.

This was our first visit and I can't believe I didn't know about this beautiful campground! The property was clean and well maintained by the camp hosts who were friendly and also very knowledgeable about the history of the area. Every day the hosts were working, trimming bushes even just picking up the smallest piece of trash (yes, other guests leave trash lying around an it's so sad). Much of what I noticed was the tiny plastic wrapper that are found on the straws attached to juice packets and things like that. The restrooms were as clean as possible for being outhouses. The property was peaceful and the walking path around the lake was a perfect walk even for our friends with bad knees. The lake was pefect for paddle boards, kyaks, swimming and fishing. They also had fire rings, and firewood for sale at the camp host site! No bears during our visit, just beauty and a peaceful visit.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
