Beautiful place! Been coming here every year for over 50 yrs. The campground is clean, plenty of space, the lake is gorgeous and the camp-hosts in the last two loops Ginny and Floyd are very helpful and kind they do a great job!

This is a great, family-friendly campground with easy access for all types of vehicles. While the site can get a bit dusty from frequent use, thats just part of the camping experience. Restrooms and water are available on-site, and the beach is only a short walk away. Firewood is sold by the camp host for $10 per bundle. Its highly recommended to make a reservation in advancefirst-come, first-served sites are very limited and fill up quickly, so dont count on them being available.

Excellent staff at Sunset. Spent 5 glorious days last week at reservoir and had a great time. Thank you to Erica and Justin, campground host for their exceptional customer service

We made last minute reservations so were stuck with the only available campsite and it happened to be the only one with no shade. Our own fault but it would be nice if the website had a way of indicating this. There were no maps offered of the area. When we entered, and around the campground there were no maps indicating beaches trails etc. and could not find on line.

Its fine. It could definitely be better maintained, especially bathrooms and showers. Rules are not enforced at all which can be annoying at night with noise and when there is 12+ people in single sites. Bears are in the area for sure.

I love this campground and look forward to coming up here at least twice every summer!

We love going to Union Valley and have been going since we got married 47 years ago. My husband has gone since he was eight years old. Floyd and Ginny are the best campground host! We love them and they make the visit even more special.

Sunset Campground in the loop that we camped in has a lovely beach. Unfortunately, it was not accessible to us because people 'staked out' spots with their pop-ups for the entire week! There seemed to be no regulations on doing that. The bathrooms were very clean.I was unable to adjust my reservation once it had started. The online chatbox did not help direct me.

Great location on a beautiful and calm lake. Lots of opportunities for biking, fishing, water activities and nearby hiking. Good sized sites and spread out well.

Paying $36 a night to camp, $10 to use the beach, $10 for the dump station is excessive. Bear awareness is preached but the dumpsters are overflowing before the weekend even starts.

Very nice place, clean and staff were helpful, just wish could be able to book the place more due to very hard to find availability.

We had a wonderful experience at this campsite! The camp host made us feel truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. Whenever we needed help, he was polite, resourceful, and always happy to assist. The campsite itself is spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. The bathrooms were clearly well looked after. Its a peaceful and quiet placeperfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. The sunsets here are absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors in a beautiful, serene setting. We had a very pleasant time and would definitely come back!

Amazing campground. Well groomed and the host was extremely proactive. Cant wait to return. From the looks of it everyone was enjoying themselves and all sites were looked good.

Bathrooms should be cleaned way more often. For those of us with kids, it was horrible. Add a light to the bathroom, add a sink to wash hand near toilets, its not sanitary otherwise. Regulate guests playing loud music ALL day, not just at night.

Lizzy, our camp host in Shady Loop 1 went above and beyond in helping us to resolve a reservation issue. She was super kind to us and fellow campers. Also, the facilities were thoroughly cleaned every day and were in great shape. Thanks Lizzy!

Beautiful campground, as always.

The campgrounds are great. I dont mind motorboats and jet skis, but the super loud powerboats are awful. Why allow that. The loud boats impact too many to the benefit of too few.

Great spot

Good size camp site but previous occupant left a few food litters. Lake beautiful and calm enough for a swim and paddle boarding. Not too crowded and although there were a few RVs with generators they were considerate enough to follow quiet hours.

Restrooms needs better cleaning/service. The campground is huge however there are not enough beach access ( only 2)

Nicely kept camp. Other campers very courteous about sound levels. Great boating and kayaking opportunities.

This is a nice, well maintained recreation area. However, it would be nice if the camp hosts were located in each "circle" so they could control the after hours noise. Stereos, kids playing, etc.... after 10PM is unwelcome. The host makes a pass through the area around 945PM.... then it starts up or continues.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
