Pros:
The site is spacious with some “extra” room due to it being on the end of the row. The bear boxes are very large (both width and depth) so you will have no problem fitting whatever coolers you have. There is a fire pit and stand-alone grill. The bathrooms/water are very close to the site but not close enough to cause any “problems”.
Cons:
The site is basically in full sun from 1pm – 7pm. The table and bear box area gets especially hammered by the sun. If you have a canopy, I highly suggest bringing one because you really can’t do anything in the site between those hours without baking to death. The whole area seems unusually dusty compared to the other side of the lake so be prepared. There is a trail that goes down to the lake on the other side of the bathrooms but the site has a “trail” of its own (almost like an ATV trail). Well, instead of taking the actual trail, people would take the “atv trail” right through the campsite. Some apologized, some didn’t. That got VERY annoying. If you had an RV/Trailer, they would have to walk right past your setup. We felt like Chris Farley in the movie Summer Rental: "I'm joe public, welcome to my beach".
Oh the bathrooms were chronically out of TP (but clean) so make sure you bring some of your own.
Overall, I could not recommend this site any less.
