Beautiful campground with a nice beach. We will definitely be coming back here!

Just came back from our trip to Union Valley. It was absolutely gorgeous! We were in campsite 54 with a 5th wheel. This particular site, was huge. We had plenty of room to add a tent or 2 if needed. Campground was very clean and the bathrooms were pretty clean. I wish I took more pics of the space but I have a few. We spent our days at Fashoda Beach kayaking and playing at the beach area. To get to the beach at Fashoda, we did have to drive to the parking lot by the showers however you can drive directly to the beach to drop off your things. Camp host was very nice. We had no issues so didn't interact much. I am excited about going back as soon as possible.

I've camped here several times. The sites are excellent with the entire campground having been rennovated a few years ago. The sites are HUGE. The bathrooms are clear and the trash is (mostly) kept picked up. This year it was quiet during quiet hours and people didn't have a bunch of lights burning throughout evening (Neither of these is always the case.) The loops are all slightly differnt. some have better lake access of are in overall better condition. I was on the first section of the second loop (site 54) and there were a lot of trees/limbs down which made it messy, but FREE firewood!

Loved how clean and quiet is was. A few loud people on Saturday night. Would have loved it if the showers were open for the Meadow Loop. Loved the experience and will go back every year I have free.

We have been going to Chrystal Basin Sunset Union Valley Reservoir for over 15 years. We love it and the campsites. The only change that I would recommend is update the website. It is a little confusing and not as easy to maneuver as the old one.

I absolutely loved everything about this place! Not a single complaint EXCEPT the people that came into the campsite behind us. There were probably at least 20-30 packed in these two campsites behind us and they were so loud the WHOLE time. All night and even into the very early morning, in which instance I was woken up before 6 am. They made it hard to enjoy the nice peace and quiet serenity of the forest because all I could hear was them screaming all day and night long. Luckily that wasnt enough to ruin the trip for me because I enjoyed this place so much! Will definitely be returning again, and hopefully next time with more respectful neighbors. :)
