Disappointing experience overall. Our site had very little tree coverage and sat very close to the road. There group across from us we're very inconsiderate. The kids and adults were loud and shouting well past 1am. No one was enforcing quiet hours. Their kids rode the bikes into our site early in the morning. We had reserved the site for three nights but after our experience the first night, we decided to pack up and head home after just one. We won't return to Twin Knobs.On the plus side, the hiking trail was nice and we were able to get our canoe out on the lake easily.

D009 is our favorite site over the years. Great workers.Suggestions/observations (not complaints)- this time noticed a lot more trash on the lakefront rocks. Suggest timely cleanup along the lake trail.- there is a large fallen tree limb high up around the camp site. Looks like a strong wind WILL bring it down. Not good. Sitting at table facing the lakethe tree is off to the left.- a great improvement would be put some sound proofing around the sewer plant generatoreffects multiple potentially prime sites. Counters the noise policy.

Great site, except the pea gravel needs to be much thicker

Beautiful view, extremely quiet and peaceful. We booked three more trips the morning we left because we enjoyed ourselves so much. The campground was well kept, bathrooms etc were clean.

I was very impressed with the Staff at the entrance, very helpful and always had a smile! My site was very clean and the restroms and bath house was well above average. The maintenance of the grounds was very nice and made for a plesent and quite camping experience.

Our first time there as campers. We have a 38' 5th wheel Jayco so choosing a site prior to our arrival was unclear how it would go. Our site was wonderful. Very shady with day time temps at 90's you wouldn't have a problem with the heat. We boated most of the day on, be the evenings and mornings were great. Easy boat launching ramp very near our site. We'll go back someday. Certainly a nice place to visit.

We stop at Twin Knobs for one night travelling between Virginia and Wisconsin and are always happy with our experience. The campground is the only part we use but it is alway clean and well maintained.

My wife and love coming here to Twin Knobs. Although the beach was closed due to flooding this time. Weve always had a great time here. Looking forward to next camping trip

Nice campsites, needs more pea gravel on sites, way to thin. Some driveways need major renovations as they are dangerous with broken lips and drop off to break an ankle or leg

The campground is big and beautiful. But the staff is very rude.

Always a joy to be down at Twin Knobs. Their campsites are super. They are spacious, not on top of each others campsite. Always look forward to our summer trips there, we do at least on week per month.

Please put some gravel on this site ! tromping in mud for 3 days wasn't fun
@JenniferE59361 · Camped on Jul 9, 2025 at Campsite #F2
Stayed 4 nights and it rained the first night and the campsite flooded a small amount but was soaked up within a couple hours. The gravel area wasnt big enough for 1-8 person tent and 1- 4 person tent. The beach was beautiful though but wouldnt let dogs in the beach area and we had a dog so we couldnt swim together. We were in a site where it was difficult to back into. It was a beautiful area though. We walked the summit trail and it was a waste of time with no view at the top. So dont go if its for the view! Had a great time overall though. Will go again!!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
