This campground was on a beautiful lake, and about 70 % of sites had a view of the lake. We were assigned a site that did not, which being only 1 night was okay. The biggest problem I had was the shower facility. It was 34 degrees outside, and the bathroom was heated to the mid 50s. The shower needed to be turned on every 15 - 20 seconds, and took about 10 pushes to get warm water coming out. There was no heat selector for the water either. When it was warm I lathered up, only to find that I had reached my maximum allowed water usage. I had to wait about a minute or two for the timer to allow water again. It was maybe my worst shower experience ever. There was also no sign explaining the shower timing situation.

Me and my wife wanted to get away for a few days and I have stayed at Twin Knobs many times, we had a wonderful time, It is a great place to go for walking and the lake is great for fishing. It has a mature campground with lots of trees and wildlife it is a great place to get away

We’ve stayed at the Twin knobs Campground for the last 20 years. We love camping here. We come every vacation and major holiday! Normally I’d give twin knobs 5 out of 5 stars this year was different. It was the perfect vacation until the last night. Thursday night before we left we had a run in with an aggressive male employee at the beach. I’m not sure I’ll ever return again. It’s going to take a lot of thinking. I’m not sure I feel safe or protective there anymore.

Large wooded campsites give additional privacy from neighbors.

Nicely spaced, shaded sites. Clean bathrooms. Nice staff. Great place to camp!
