The campground was very well kept and both hosts on site were super friendly and helpful. Great trails to hike on site and in the surrounding area. Big Sky is only a short drive away also.

Campground was very natural and being right next to the river made our fly fisherman very happy. Some of the camper spacing was tight, ie a space was listed as being 40 fit long but we had to put our 38 ft in the spot diagonally because it definitely wasnt a 40 ft long site.

This is our 5th year staying at Red Cliff during the summer. We love the convenience of the campground to Big Sky and the Gallatin River, but the bathrooms were a bit rougher than they have been in the past, which was a disappointment.

Host was great. We had some mechanical issues and she went out of her way to get help.

Love this campground. If only it had a bathhouse it would be perfect. Quiet, on the river, a fun hike with a cave onsite and it has electricity.

Great place to camp. Close to town clean. Just noise from road

This was our first time visiting this camp site. We enjoyed our stay, but the road noise made it very difficult to sleep at night. Well return, but bring ear plugs for the next time.

Red Cliff is an amazing camping spot. The views are incredible with the river flowing close by so you can hear it as you sit out by the campfire or just relaxing in the peaceful and quiet area. There are hiking trails and the Red Cliff cave is fun for all to see.

Very nice and well maintained campground. Only real noise was from the road. Loved sleeping close to the river. Would highly recommend.

I have been camping here for many years. The prices keep going up and the maintenance goes down.

Awesome location, cool trail , nice river and Mountain Views. They even had electrical hook ups, although we didnt use them.
@RichardG179702 · Camped on May 17, 2025 at Campsite #23
Great camp site, steps away from the river, steps away from a restroom. It was a rainy weekend but there was enough cover to still be outside. The only negative was a little road noise but nothing really bad.

Camp hosts were excellent. I have been staying at this campground for 45 years. The restrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen. They even hang bags to put other things in if you want to throw them away while youre in there. Very good

What a great place to camp. Had the river on one side and cliffs on the other. The night sky was full of stars. And the campground is near everything you need. We loved our stay.

nice well organized or laid out CG. Clean bathrooms, thank you. Area well maintained.
@WangCF41E859F1 · Camped on Aug 26, 2024 at Campsite #59
Loved the view, sounds of the river, and how beautiful and dark the campground is at night so we can enjoy the night sky. The one and only draw back was the car noise from the highway the roaring river couldnt cover.
@CarynM32FE4886 · Camped on Aug 23, 2024 at Campsite #39
Great spot to camp. Sites are a bit narrow but length is great. Close to the highway but it quiets down at night. Beautiful river and nice hosts.
@MikeC4022067 · Camped on Aug 22, 2024 at Campsite #56
Next to the highway with noisy truck traffic.

Campgournd is fine though only two water spigets, one per loop.Uncooperative hosts - would not let me switch to a more suitable site for my rig although there were many (1/2) open sites available. Hosts said "they" (whoever that is) would not like it.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
