Red Cliff Campground is located in the Bozeman Ranger District, Custer Gallatin National Forest (59 min south of Bozeman, MT) with an elevation of 6,237 feet. There are a total of 61 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid May to the end of September. Max equipment length is 60 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 25 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $24.00 to $32.00. Activities include fishing, hiking trails.

Ground was a bit wet from heavy rains. Nice facility. Water access was as not easily accessible.

Clean and very easy access to Big Sky and other adventures. Highway noise, for us anyway, was not as bad as others indicated. Super easy and beautiful river access and hiking.

The campground was clean, the bathrooms were spotless. The host were absolutely wonderful and probably the best hosts Ive ever had at a campground. Gordy and Penny and Kristen were so nice and sweet and knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely be coming back or following those camp host if they decide to go somewhere else next year.

We've been coming here for years and very happy to get cell phone service. Campground hosts are very nice. Generally visit friends and always play a round of golf. It's the only time we actually plan on and enjoy dry camping.plan on dry camping

Perfect campsite. There were a lot of moths but no mosquitos which was amazing and we were so close to the bathroom. It was an outhouse style but convenient none the less.

Nice campground with a little elbow room and location near Big Sky. Did Ozzie Falls hike which is beautiful and quite easy.

Beautiful large campsites right on the side of Gallitan River which was great for late night swims after a day of biking/hiking. No cell service which was actually a blessing. Highly recommend.

The campground was very well kept and both hosts on site were super friendly and helpful. Great trails to hike on site and in the surrounding area. Big Sky is only a short drive away also.

Campground was very natural and being right next to the river made our fly fisherman very happy. Some of the camper spacing was tight, ie a space was listed as being 40 fit long but we had to put our 38 ft in the spot diagonally because it definitely wasnt a 40 ft long site.

This is our 5th year staying at Red Cliff during the summer. We love the convenience of the campground to Big Sky and the Gallatin River, but the bathrooms were a bit rougher than they have been in the past, which was a disappointment.

Love this campground. If only it had a bathhouse it would be perfect. Quiet, on the river, a fun hike with a cave onsite and it has electricity.

This was our first time visiting this camp site. We enjoyed our stay, but the road noise made it very difficult to sleep at night. Well return, but bring ear plugs for the next time.

Red Cliff is an amazing camping spot. The views are incredible with the river flowing close by so you can hear it as you sit out by the campfire or just relaxing in the peaceful and quiet area. There are hiking trails and the Red Cliff cave is fun for all to see.

Camp host was nice. The water fill area was not clearly marked, so we had to ask the host for assistance. It was next to the trash cans at the entry to park. There is no dump station which is a huge downside - especially in that area. The campsite was on the river (followed a path) which was beautiful.
