Super cool spot. Lacks privacy but the meadow clearing is so pretty and the woods around are so fun to explore. We were there Thursday-Saturday and had the place mostly to ourselves. Great little spot for a day or two camping experience.

My fiance and our dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our camping experience. The visitors center had clean bathrooms and friendly staff. The trails were in great condition and the camping area was clean. We will likely return for another camping experience in the future.

Nice open area surrounded by the trees. Very peaceful and secluded. Less than a mile walk from the parking lot.

Awesome, quiet place. Keeps you away from other packed campsites. Not much there to do and see. Just set up, relax, and grill up your best food. And have a good nights sleep lol.

Bluff is the best! Huge, quiet sites in a sunny meadow, with easy access to all the delights Congaree has to offer. Well be back!

Came alone. Super dark out and quiet. But after the 1 mile walk to the sites its all peaceful. Set up your tent, and start your munchies before a good nights sleepy.

I love Congaree! I've been there a couple times in the winter months and I expect that's the ideal time: few guests, cooler temps, low humidity, and no bugs. It can be very wet off the boardwalks, so I recommend checking conditions ahead of time and bringing xtratuffs. The Bluff campsite is a short walk from parking. Had a lovely evening listening to barred owls.

Love this campsite(bluff 2)!2 picnic tables & a grate for the fire. Plenty of space for tents & hammocks. The family bathroom was open at the visitor center too. Can be nice to take dinner trash etc back to the car (avoid attracting animals) & use the warm bathroom during a cold winter evening. It might be a Natl Park, but we are in the South so theres plenty of trash left in/around the fire pit Bring an extra trash bag to help clean up & keep our parks pristine!

Campground was clean. The hike in was nice. This was the first time taking my dog camping and hiking and it was the perfect TV trail for him as an older small dog.

The park was well maintained, clean, and the staff was very helpful. I was hopeful I would be able to backpack and camp along the Oakridge trail, but the trail was closed the following morning due to flooding. I had a great time and throughly ejnoyed natural setting with very little development. Les

Awesome campground for a long weekend. 6 spots equally spaced out for privacy in a large clearing. So much firewood quickly sourceable. Only about a 10-15min hike from the Visitor Center (which has water fill ups). Great location to practice backpacking without being isolated. Cell reception is good, too. Easy trail access to hike to Weston and Wise Lake for fishing. I would 100% stay again.

It was a spectacular campsite with nature in every direction. I will say the "small" walk for the hike out sites was a bit farther than expected but we could do it with only mild difficulty with a 4 year old. It is a perfect camping area with super helpful and kind staff.

The overall experience was pretty good and I only have a couple problems with the camp site. We stayed on site 2 and the grill was broken off the fire pit but we ended up not using it. Another thing was the posting listed on the website made the camp sites seem much further away from each other than they were. Also you couldnt really tell by the posting that you were in a big open clearing. This wasnt really a problem due to the fact that it was 17 degrees and there was not a soul in sight. The park is a very nice place to be and the nature is wonderful, we saw rabbits, deer, and where hogs had been. The trees are also amazing to see on the boardwalk. I would definitely go back.

I love camping at the Bluff campsite. I like the fact that there is a hike into it so that you feel like you're actually camping instead of just sleeping next to your car. But the hike is so easy it's not a problem even if you need to make several trips. The sites are spread out nicely around the open field. It's just nice.

Me, my husband, and our dog stayed at the Bluff Campgrounds and had a really nice time. Be prepared to walk a little to the campsite (10-15mins).The campsite was quite and clean. No need to check in, so don't worry about making it to the site before the visitor center closes. We really enjoyed some of the longer trails in the area, as they are less traveled.

Our trip was amazing! Were from Ohio so the environment was definitely different than the parks we have, making it extra beautiful and breathtaking. Regardless of the flooding from the rain, we were able to enjoy the boardwalk 2 days in a row, we highly recommend crocs rather than skip the flooding! It was our favorite part by far. We also camped in the Bluff campground which was a mile hike in. We recommend parking by the welcome center rather than the long leaf campground parking lot as it was much easier and slightly shorter to get to camp. The campground was very clean and private enough that we felt comfortable using our pop up tent toilet. Although the welcome center was small, it was informative and the staff was so nice! We saw lots of creatures but not too many snakes as anticipated. It was such a beautiful area, dont pass it up due to the few bad reviews who dont appreciate the great outdoors. We highly recommend March/April as the night temperatures were cool and the days warm, meaning the bugs were low! The mosquito meter stayed at a 1 the entire 3 days we were there! Add it to your list, its worth it!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
