We had a good stay because we like Rock Creek because of spacious sites and distance from other sites. What we didn't like on this trip is the new hosts. They are not very friendly. I had an electrical problem the first night told them the next day, he said he would be up to look at it but never showed up. Had the same problem two more times the second night with power going off. The woman host came by the next day and said I had to wait on forest service to come fix the problem. Finally got it fixed. The hosts that was there on Memorial Day weekend were a lot more helpful and friendlier than the new hosts. I also don't like the fact that they have removed all lantern posts. Whoever runs Rock Creek needs to do some service work in various places. The dump station hose and fresh water hose both need to be fixed properly instead of patching things. The sink in bathroom near the pond was out of service also.

Most of the campsites are very private, lots of space between you and the next site, lots of greenery separating sites. That is most of what I look for.

Very nice little campground in the Cherokee National Forest. Facilities were clean. Peaceful and enjoyable! Will visit again.

We had site 28 in loop C which fit our camper but getting into it was challenging. Loved the park as it was so quiet and a good 10 degrees cooler than the temps in Erwin. We will definitely stay again only in a different site that is easier to back into.

Love Rock Creek campground. 2-mile hike, one way, to the upper falls.

The park has been home to me my whole life and is one of my favorite places in our neck of the woods.I didn't give my experience camping here a higher ranking due to the campground host treatment of us while we were there.It was a lady who never introduced herself (which is why I can't name her) but she was rude to us during our stay and our friends who were staying during the same time.Other than that, I always love visiting Rock Creek Recreation Area.

We were so excited about this camping trip, only to be disappointed. We were never greeted by the host. My kid was being bullied by some lids because of wearing a tail, and it turned out to be the hosts kids. Also some guy was following my kid and their friends and when someone that was helping the host came by to see about something that happened that morning when we got there, the complaint about the bullying and the guy following our kids was blown off. They only wanted to know about a family that wouldn't take some paper of rules from the host, and that family was later kicked out of the campground with 4 cop cars coming up there. It was ridiculous and I will not be back to camp there. Also, there was no soap in the ladies restroom the whole time we were there.

We used to love camping at Rock Creek. This last trip was NOTHING like it has been in the past because of the new camp host. She is the most unfriendly camp host I have come across in my 40 years of camping and runs the place with an iron fist. It seems like her life goal was to be a police officer but that didnt work out for her. We were being watched from the minute we entered until we left. Weve always been peaceful campers, make friends with the host, and just enjoy the calm environment, but that has changed dramatically because all this camp host cares to do is find a way to get you kicked out (which she was successful in doing to another person that camped nearby, all because her ego was bruised.) My entire family was never so ready to pack our things and go home when the time came. I will be driving further to avoid Rock Creek for as long as she is camp host.

The sites are very small, no water at site and there really isnt any swimming as it is a frigid cement bottom pond. The campground is very secluded and peaceful and the bathhouses are plentiful but the showers have auto water spouts and dont stay on long

We love camping here! Camping spots are spacious and private. Love hearing the whippoorwills at dusk. Several trails featuring creeks and wildflowers.

We always love going to rock creek. It's very peaceful, enjoy the walks, the creek, concrete pool, the waterfall.

Our extended family had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful campground. Every site is an electric site which means you do not hear generators going all day. It was quiet and peaceful. Each site has a lot of space and they are not right on top of each other. The concrete swimming hole was great as well. We had 6 children from age 3 to age 7 and the fact that the swimming hole was only 5 feet deep was peace of mind. We were all able to play and have fun. We went to Scott's Farm Market, about 15 minutes away and enjoyed some awesome homemade ice cream!!

We really enjoyed tent camping at Rock Creek Recreation Area. We stayed at Site 13, Loop B. The bathroom and shower facilities were conveniently located near our site. The hosts were very friendly.

Beautiful campground in the Forest. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. We stayed in site 5 one night on our way through and site 3 one night on our way back up past the area. Both sites were clean and perfect for what we wanted. Site 3 is slightly more level. The bathrooms and showers were clean as well.

My wife and I havent been camping in many years, about a year ago we bought a small camper, we decided to go to Rock Creek park in Erwin. We found the park to be clean and neat, and the The Host was very helpful and niceOffering to help with anything we might have needed. With everything encompassed it was a wonderful experience, very relaxing, a much needed time away from the hustle and bustle.We are planning to return soon.

We loved this campground. Beautiful place to walk and enjoy the forest - the trees in loop c are just gorgeous! It's a quiet place with good separations from other campsites. I just wish it had full hook ups. Our site was fairly level too. The new camp host were super friendly to us. We helped pick up some downed limbs from previous storms and they let use them for firewood. I love to see a community coming back from the storms.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
