My husband, 2 dogs, and I stayed for a night just to get a final camping trip in for the year and I was lovely. Very simple but with access to some hiking/biking trails. The sites are nicely spaced out with plenty of views for the woods for most of not all sites. We did have a spigot right near us but keep in mind its more of a trickle of water versus steady flow. So if you anticipate needing to use a bunch of water, consider bringing your own so you arent standing at the spigot for a while. We will definitely be making future trips to Rock Creek. For sure in the hotter months so we can take a dip in their creek fed natural pool!

My wife and I havent been camping in many years, about a year ago we bought a small camper, we decided to go to Rock Creek park in Erwin. We found the park to be clean and neat, and the The Host was very helpful and niceOffering to help with anything we might have needed. With everything encompassed it was a wonderful experience, very relaxing, a much needed time away from the hustle and bustle.We are planning to return soon.

We had a wonderful time camping in the heart of nature. Our site was fairly level and well-maintained with a finely crushed gravel surface. There was a large firepit and a huge picnic table. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. It would have been nice if there was water at the sites, but we knew there wouldn't be any when we made our reservation and planned for it. The bathhouse was clean but full of crawling caterpillars. There was an electric hand dryer, but I really wish there was soap by the sink. There was a large group camping in multiple sites near our site. I appreciated that they were quiet even though they had quite a few kids. A very enjoyable trip.

This is a very well maintained campground with spaces affording a good deal of separation and privacy and wilderness surrounding. No outside noise. Bathrooms exceptionally well kept and in working order. Great hikes straight from the campground plus easy access to the Appalachian Trail. I really enjoyed my time there.

Rock Creek was wonderful! The fall colors were beautiful. The sites are large and positioned for a private feel.

The bathrooms aren’t new, but they were better than I’d read in reviews online. Compared to the bathrooms at Cades Cove they were great! The shower was hot, even though the ceiling fan moved the freezing cold mountain air around. The park rangers came through at least once a day to check on things.

We saw a lot of small game wildlife, but thankfully no bears. The birds serenaded us the entire trip.

We can’t wait to go back here!!

Quiet and beautiful setting. The site was mostly level. Bathrooms clean and tidy. Water available at numerous spigots on the loop. Plenty of exploring, and fantastic trails for hiking. Camp host knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Short drive into town for groceries and local restaurant flavor. Will definitely be coming back!!

Excellent camping sites and bathroom facilities. Camping sites were spacious.

This is a hidden gym! Playgrounds for small children and a natural swim hole(chilly though!) Clean and friendly! Easy access to necessities. Safe for families!
