The site was beautiful till it rained and left big wash outs. Everything from up the hill washed and drained through our site

The Wife and I went camping at Kirby Landing on Lake Greeson on Memorial Day weekend and had an excellent time. We pulled our little camper out and stayed on lot #97. At first I didnt think Id like it, but it turned out to be a great location, lots of shade and well maintained. Loved it, very relaxing.

Kirby never disappoints, however the weather was unfavorable. Obviously not the campgrounds fault as the weather is usually sporadic at Lake Greeson. Campgrounds were clean and well maintained as usual. The water was low for this time of year, but again, not Kirby's fault. The Corp has drawn the lake down approximately 10 foot below pool for work that is going on at the dam. The water was chilly as the temps were in the mid to lower 80's which resulted in water temps of around 74 to 80 degrees at best. We are going back in mid June which should improve water temps to be a little more enjoyable. Kirby has always been and remains my favorite campgrounds on Lake Greeson.

Cellular service is very spotty, especially if its cloudy.

Great place to stay. Only wish there were more AAA sites. We stayed in site 48 and it would have been better if the grass was mowed. We were there 12 nights in a 5th wheel trailer.

It is a great spot especially if you have children and pets. Lots of land for you to walk your dogs. My kids caught several fish just off the banks there. Plenty big enough to set up a volley ball net or play some horse shoes. It did rain some so we lost power briefly but it was restored rather quickly.

Always one of our favorite places. Now there are teenagers flying through all hours of day and night, loud music, loud trucks revving constantly. If we had young kids, we would have probably left for something with less teenage driving traffic. The site was beautiful as always.

This is one of my favorite spots!! Close to the water, lots of parking. I like the railing to hang towels and things on.

A couple of complaints.. in the area where lot #68 is, theres half as many trash cans as usual. Where there was a hanger for two cans, there was only one can. During spring break weekend when the park is full of campers and many friends, one trash can for 3 or 4 campers will not do. What really surprised me was that the trash or restrooms were not touched during the weekend, one of the busiest weekends of the year.Other than these house cleaning changes the park is great. I know, that this service is contracted out, but the service was not near enough for situation.If situations like this cant be controlled you should put a dumpster somewhere that campers can dispose of their trash.Like I mentioned..I couldnt believe they were not working on the weekend, the busiest couple of days.

Very nice campsite. Full hookups are really nice. Large pad that easily accommodates 5th wheel, truck, boat , and second vehicle. Nice view of the lake.

The water was turned off at the site. Host not available at checkin. The bathhouse although it was heated,did little in warming up the room.

We really enjoy Kerby Landing, Weston is best. We don't like the lake levels in the fall but nothing can be done about that. The dump station at Weston has a large pot hole that needs filled. Kerby Landing is, in our opinion, the Best COE park in the state of Arkansas.

We arrived a little before check in- no one was at the gate- found our site easily. Site 001, East. Had nice water views and site was quiet. Some sites are close to others but we liked how ours was a bit more separated from the neighbors. We walked around- cell signal was usable (not strong) near the boat launch and bath house. Phones went in and out of SOS at site-both iPhone and Android (both on ATT). Bath house was clean with multiple toilet stalls and two private showers with locking doors. Dump station was close to bath house- even though we only stayed 1 night we dumped and rinsed our black tank well. No one else was using or waiting for the dump station- there were only a handful of camp sites in use on a Friday night (10/4). We stopped one night only on our way from LA to Eureka Springs. I would definitely stay at Kirby Landing again. There is a nice swimming area that would be great in the summer.

Love the nice campsites, excellent restrooms and showers. Boat ramp and bank are nice for getting the boat in and out. Been camping here for 50 years!!!

Usually try to get this same spot. Not much shade but good view of lake and close to friends that come same time. Mary at the entrance is a super nice lady as is the lady Ranger that comes by.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
