We stayed on the loop so shade was at a premium. Very hot days but a nice breeze off the lake made it feel a lot better . Next time will definitely stay on the ridge for the shade. Fishing was good. A bad day of camping beats a good day at work. Bring a fan and everything will be good.

Everything about the campground was beautiful. Even with it being the 4th weekend it was still quiet and relaxing. See you soon. We love staying in this place.

Over all we had a great time. The host of the park drives by several times a day checking on things. Everyone is friendly. Fishing was good. The only issue is watching for the little flying ants that bite, bring a screened in canopy. Good time was had by all. We will go back in the fall.

Camp site was clean, bathrooms were clean with good water pressure and hot water.

Great like always Even with the loops being closed due to high lake levels ( lot of rain raised the lake almost 12 feet flooding the loops) the ridge was wonderful like always. Some sites are smaller then others and not as easy to level your camper but in the end worth the extra effort. Never had a bad day on the ridge

We had an amazing 4 days before we had to leave due to weather. We really wish we could have finished our 2 weeks there. Definitely will visit again.

Campsite 74 was not good for a 42 ft. 5th wheel camper. Trees in the way. The pull through is not level.

The loop is open and it was wonderful. Nice clean site. Fishing was terrific. One of the best weekend of fishing I have had in a long time. Watched kids catching fish from the bank. There were so many kids it brought us back to when we were kids. No phones or tablets just kids playing games with each other. Letting kids be kids. Being grandparents seeing all these kids playing together puts a smile on our face. It was the best feeling weekend. Didnt want it to end. Thanks again we will see you in May if not before.

I enjoyed my stay at Jefferson Ridge. It was very nice and clean. The Bath Houses and restrooms were always nice and clean as well. The lake was beautiful I would like to make spring or summer visit.

I normally stay several weeks at Jefferson Ridge Campground and like the lake. But the increase on the per night camp spot from $16 to $22/ night is a little overboard on % of increase

The area and the park are beautiful. I stayed in site 7 in early September on a very fall like, temp wise, four day weekend. I stayed in a tent. My site had the best shade of all the water front site. The park could have used a mowing. The bath room for the loop was not the cleanest (hand soap provided but bugs and loose toilet paper squares on the floor), and was not cleaned while I was there, but it was not disgusting. Loop one does not have a shower, but loop two does. However, it is quite the hike to get there from loop one. The water was down and didnt seem all that clean in the cove that loop one is located in. I was kayaking in the morning in the fog on the lake. Note: Site 6 was level for my neighbors 24 ft RV. To sum up the park is beautiful with some opportunities.

The place was empty on a Friday night during the summer with just a handful of campers registered. The place is pristine, and well run by the hosts, etc. BUT....In today's world, everyone has the need to stay in touch with family or work via cellphones or the internet which can be achieved through a cellphone signal, making a cellphone signal the primary requirement for us. At Jefferson Ridge, which would otherwise get a rating of 5, cellphone service ranged from zero to bare minimum for a minute or two, depending on where you might be standing at the moment or if you were just lucky for a moment. From a safety standpoint, not being able to contact the outside world in case of an emergency or for mere convenience of communication, takes this park off our list of places to stay.With the dollars lost from potential attendees for the simple reason cited, some sort of technology could be easily installed to provide a mini-tower, directional antenna, or such to join the rest of the world.

Loved Jefferson Ridge campground! Nice quiet area, shady campsites! Will be going back!

There is a need for a better playground equipment for children. Also trees need to be planted for shade. Plant trees that can hold up to the water being on them for a few days; cypress, water oak, willows, etc.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
