Greeson is our favorite lake, beautiful. We always see bald eagles and other wildlife.

If you want to camp in the cold months and there has been below freezing temps predicted by the weather channel like there was this early November, they will shut the water off at the dump station, which means no rinsing out the black tank. It was 60 plus degrees most days we were there in mid November but once they are turned off they will not turn them back on. Also, beware if you park your truck and trailer on the boat ramp, buzzards were on vehicles almost every day, tearing up any rubber on your truck. Greeson is such a beautiful lake, I wish the Fish and Game would do something about the buzzards.

Love site 18, its our favorite. Water was beautiful and clear and fish were biting. Just wished there was better cell service. Need a tower BAD!

Overall, a really nice facility. However, I was disappointed that one of the showers did not have any hot water. Luckily the other shower was open and the hot water was fine.

Our favorite lake, would be nice if the CORP would address the non working blinking lights on the buoys. Especially in Kirby landing east by the boat ramp. We come in after dark all the time and is a safety issue not being able to see them. Also, the buzzard problem! Our pontoon was tore up and they pooped everywhere. Took a while to clean everything and have cushions repaired. Any ideas on how to get rid of them?

Love Kirby Landing and love the lake! I have noticed the corp has been very lax on keeping things on the lake up though. Buoy lights are missing or not blinking.

What a great park and lake! Site 18 is on the shore with steps down to the water. We launched our kayaks right behind our camper. There are stairs down to the water. The site was gravel but level. The only issue was the flies! Not sure what was going on but they would mysteriously leave about 8 pm each night. We thoroughly enjoyed this park.

Kirby Landing has a beautiful campground with excellent bathhouses. The grounds are kept up nice and the people around the area are so friendly.
