Beautiful spot. Bathrooms were clean. Wish the lake had been at its normal level.

The campsite was nice the view was beautiful. Unfortunately the wind was so fierce we couldnt enjoy it. Booked 3 nights, could only stay one. Wish we could have had better weather.

I have no complaints about the site I was on my View was spectacular. The only thing I could say is dont wait until October. The water was very low and the dust was out of control because of no rain. but no one can control Mother Nature. very nice experience

Camped with family & friends and all agreed this was a hidden gem! We had clear views of sunrise & sunsets. My young niece was able to play safely in the area with other children without thru traffic. They even played hide & seek after dark. Mostly tent campers the weekend we were there. We will be back!

Amazing trip. This campsite has a beautiful view of the sunsets on the lake. The warn path directly to the lake is a little steep for my age (would be easily handled by children), but the next site down has an easy path to the water. I went swimming daily from the bank. The bank area is rocks so no mud or fear of snakes. The camp is well maintained, and garbage cans emptied daily. I have straight talk phone service, the reception was outstanding even to the point I was able to stream a movie using the hotspot. The campground was quiet. A deer and her baby visited along with multiple squirrel, and a blue herron. My job is stressful and I went for solitude and quiet. This campsite was exactly what I ordered.

Great camp site. Only issue is ants everywhere and weeds down to the water.

Other than the slight decline in the camping spot, this was an enjoyable weekend getaway. The uneven landscape made it difficult to decide how to position the tents. There were others camping next to us, and other than someone not keeping their dogs on a leash it was alright. Overall I would camp here again! I would just choose a flatter surface area next time.

Wanted to be completely transparent about this spot. If you have small children, sensitive to sun etc, read on. I'll start with cons as I feel it's most important: **Watch out for the cut off tree stumps throughout the site. Not a huge deal, but easy to trip on in the dark. **The tent pad is completely in the sun from about 12ish to 5:30-6ish pm. No shade whatsoever, on hot days with high indexes this is a huge problem and the biggest issue we had. You CANNOT walk across the tent pad area during this time barefooted or you will literally blister your feet. If you have children that like to go barefoot, please take caution. It gets super hot really fast. (Or even pets with you) ** There is also no shade walking to water or while swimming during this time. Water shoes highly recommended. Lots of rock, shale, etc and easy to cut feet on and again, can be hot to walk on going down. The trail down to water isn't horrible for bigger people, but kids may stumble so be careful. **Definitely lots of ants, small nuisance for us but I know some don't tolerate them well. * Not a biggie, but the fire pit is in an awkward place that makes it a bit harder to try and "gather round" off to the side of tent pad. If you've read this far, thank you. Now for the Pros: *the view is lovely- sunset side, though partly hidden is still pretty to watch-right on the water. *Early in the morning you see the moon going down while sun rises on other side, it's nice to watch and peaceful. *wildlife viewing- we seen raccoons, several squirrels and deer, all within our campsite. *The shade late afternoon and early morning, along with breezes are great! Just not around the tent pad itself. Overall, we ended up cutting our 7 night stay down to 3, our pets and children were both struggling with the heat. We made these plans in Jan and wanted to try despite the weather/heat, thinking there would be more shade than there was to make it work, it didn't for us. Good luck and safe camping!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
