We have gone to Crystal Springs two years in a row. No matter what spot you have it has great views. Bathrooms and campsite are very clean. You do have Internet. And its great to be able to access the water sometimes even right from your campsite. You are only about 25 minutes away from Hot Springs and so close to so many waterfalls and springs to explore and swim in. The dollar store is not too far away and if its important to you, the liquor store is right around the corner. Lol.

Very enjoyable camping spot. Beautiful lake, many people had their boats tied to shore next to their site. Nice swimming area with sandy beach. Would definitely recommend!

Always a great time! Nice site and great clean bathrooms.

Such a great site right on the lake. This site is best for self contained campers because the bathroom is somewhat far away. However, not a deal breaker as you can always just drive to it or take a stroll.

The spaces and the park are well maintained. I was worried about choosing a bad spot on the online map, but there are not any bad spots. This park is wonderful. The restrooms and showers are well maintained. We truly enjoyed this park and appreciate the staff that make it wonderful.

Absolutely beautiful campground with gorgeous views of the lake and mountains. Perfect for kayaking, swimming, and biking. The only downside was the bathrooms and shower facilities werent the best.

As a young boy I lived about a 200 yards North of our campsite. So I am somewhat prejudiced. I love Lake Ouachita. One place you need to visit if you have time is Hickory Nut Mountain. From there you have a view of the entire lake. But for the experience of a lifetime, rent a boat and spend the day on the lake weaving in and around the nearly two hundred, tree covered islands. Or take your tent with you and spend the night on one of those islands. It is a great way to get back to nature . . .

Loved our time there! The flooding forced us to move campsites, but we got a call with plenty of notice and both staff members we talked to were very kind and helpful. Would definitely be back!

Clean bathrooms, quiet park, a variety of sites to choose from tent camping to big trailers. Kids played on the beach all evening and we were within an hour of several other places to visit in Hot Springs and beyond. This made it a great jumping off point! For those who need it (like my husband who never really takes a vacation), cell coverage was not a problem. We would stay again if ever in the area!

Beautiful sites- almost all of them on the water in our area. Great playground with swings and a sandy beach. Sites are a little close together, but mature landscaping helps to make your space feel like your own. It was about 20 min to Hot Springs

Really nice campground. Showers/bathrooms were clean. We loved the area - rented kayaks from the marina down the road, hiked, kids rode bikes.

It was a beautiful spot. We enjoyed the lake view. Soooo relaxing. We went to Burl's Smokehouse twice for lunch and jerky. They have awesome food. Everyone should stop there if you're staying at Crystal Springs.

Quiet and clean park in February.

Absolutely stunning campsite! It appears that there were not many people here in the winter so we were able to snag a nice waterfront area. Loved the wildlife and how quite the area was.
@WILLIAMM503355 · Camped on Jan 5, 2025 at Campsite #35
Due to weather, we were not allowed to connect to the water. Everyone was nice!!! The campgrounds are wonderful. We will stay again!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
