Aux Arc Campground in Franklin County is located 43 min east of Fort Smith, AR with an elevation of 373 feet. There are a total of 87 campsites including 3 tent-only sites. The campground is open all year. 81 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 35 and 86 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 78 sites have electric and water hookups. 6 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $10.00 to $50.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

A busy campground with very nice large sites that are well spaced. Campground hosts were friendly and out and about. The bathhouse was clean and stocked. Close to town with amenities which was a bonus for us. We went to Arkansas brewery and it was really good bar food. The only downside for us was no trails to hike without leaving the campground.

This was a one night stop for us on our way to Arizona. Perfect place to stay after a long day of driving.

This campsite is our go to camping area. It is normally very peaceful even on the busiest holiday weekend but this time was different. The inconsiderate people in the camp next to us left there dogs tied up outside while they were gone. One dog barked constantly and the other howled. It was so bad that my husband and I could not even enjoy the campfire, which was the 1 thing I was so looking forward to on this trip. Bottom line, be considerate to other people in the campground. I have nothing against dogs as we have 1 of our own and bring him quite often. Overall, we absolutely love this campground and we will be back.

The atmosphere at Aux Arc is very inviting. Next to the Arkansas River you can enjoy barges and trains. You can also watch water fowl and wildlife. Because Aux Arc is close to the town of Ozark, you can quickly get to shopping and restaurants. Ozark also has several antique and thrift stores.

Starting with check in, camp host are friendly and helpful. The CG is clean and quiet, nice place to relax for a couple days.

For our family its close and easy, but this last time we almost ended up being right next to people who cared less about how much their dog barked. Thankfully we were headed out. Park is reasonably clean. Hosts were very nice.

Very Beautiful and well kept. They had Trick-or-Treat going on the week I was there everyone who participated had Decorations and Candy the Kids were polite and everything was ran smoothly
