We were in a good area away from the large families. Overall the camp ground needs a huge face lift. The fire pits are sinking into the ground, some are leaning side ways, into the ground. The stand up grills honestly just need to go more than half of them are just barely hanging on. The camp sites turn into lakes when it rains, they are so sunkin in. A lot of them are in useable when it rains for a long time. Would be nice to have a space up on a bit of higher ground just for tents on each site. Positive side, the restrooms are kept really clean.and the host was super nice.

We had a wonderful visit to Aspen Rec Center. We happen to be there during the Gov. shut down so I wasnt sure how that would be. It was lots of fun. Very peaceful. We stayed on 61. The pads are asphalt so leveling was a snap. Roomy spaces, we had privacy. Tiny squirrels were cute. Ravens galore & fun sounds. Restrooms were clean & staff were constantly patrolling. This campground is very close to Canyon Woods Lake & theres a trail. We rode our bikes there. Theres a store to get whatever you forgot or snacks. We have AT&T cell & we were SOS the entire stay. We use Starlink for WiFi and it worked well. Everyone was so friendly we will be back in Spring.

Wonderful spot to camp. The campsites are large and the bathrooms are always very clean. The walk/hike around the lake has beautiful views. This was my second time camping here and will definitely visit again.

We had a great time camping at Aspen Campground even in the rain! Woods Canyon Lake is beautiful. Get there early to fish it does get packed fast on the shoreline. The little store has sweat shirts / pants, tshirts, cups for memories and everything you might need. The check in was easy and they lady was very kind. The forest was just beautiful walking the trails is breathtaking.

Always a nice stay! Bathrooms can get a bit smelly but its kind of expected with pit toilets. If people would actually read the multiple signs to keep lid and door closed it would be much better.

Our host at the check in kiosk (Sherrie?) was so nice, and helped me have peace of mind. I haven't been camping for a few years, so she made me feel very welcome. She also corrected a problem I created...I reserved lot 060 but camped at lot 006, and she let me stay there, which saved us a few hours of relocating. There were a few other hosts patrolling the area with golf carts, which made me feel safe. Our lot was very clean and I will be back.

Weve been coming to this campsite since I was a kid and its still one of my favorite spots. Its always very well maintained and the staff is friendly. Theres boat rentals at the lake - all different options from paddle boards to pontoons. The lake store is very cute and is constantly being improved and updated. The bathrooms are also always in good shape and everything within the camp is very close by so youll always be able to grab water, firewood, ice, etc.

Spacious and clean campsite near the lake, hosts are very helpful. Nice trail around the lake. No sign of the campground on the main road. [like the great majority of campgrounds in the area]. Will go back for sure.

The camp hosts helped us find a spot on a Friday evening after our original plans had changed unexpectedly. The drove around the sites so we would not have to drive with the RV and a tow vehicle. They also checked on us throughout our stay to ensure everything was okay. They went above and beyond.

The campground was lovely with large campsites which were easy to access. My only frustration was that the website states dump station and water but they are only available during restricted hours and the site does not indicate this. I arrived expecting to fill my tank at 7:15 before setting up camp and instead had to fill the next day using 5 gallon bottles one trip at a time.

Site 18 has very little shade. But campground was well kept and hosts were super nice. Did their work, waved hi but stuck themselves. Which is what you want.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
