The campground was lovely with large campsites which were easy to access. My only frustration was that the website states dump station and water but they are only available during restricted hours and the site does not indicate this. I arrived expecting to fill my tank at 7:15 before setting up camp and instead had to fill the next day using 5 gallon bottles one trip at a time.

Had a wonderful stay at Aspen. The Campsite was clean and the camp hosts were great! Fished at Wood's Canyon Lake. Hiked the trails around the lake. Drove down to the Tonto Creek Fish hatchery.

Nice place but you need to make sure it hasnt been raining because the place gets all flooded so beware. Also make sure your spot has a grill like it suppose too. Mine didnt so I couldnt grill anything I brought to grill, like Ribeyes stake and Hamburgers.

The staff was polite and available. The camp site becomes flooded when it rains and there are puddles of water that remain for days. The sites are still rented even though they might be water logged, and it is known to the staff. The quiet time rules of the camp site was not enforced, even after a complaint was made. I had to cut my stay short because of the coming rain, knowing that the site would be flooded during the night, and also the fact that I might not get a good nights sleep due to the noise coming from a generator. There were evidence of debris showing that water flowed through my reserved spot.

We have been up to Woods Canyon Lake and have checked out the other camp spots. We were there every week (mid week in July this year. The staff is amazing and we just love Tina. She remembered us right after our very first stay. All the staff is GREAT and enjoy our time there!!!!
