Nice site. Campground was not to crowded, however this was probably because there was no fishing allowed at the lake and no campfires allowed. Both of these prohibitions were no doubt because of the overly dry conditions. Otherwise, nice place to camp in a cool environment.

The campground is beautiful with lots of trees. Sites are spread out so lot of room. Camp host is very friendly. Verizon works great but not T Mobile.

Nice campsite, bummed that the lake was closed because of the algae bloom, but it was nice!

Hello, the only thing I'd let other travelers know is that the road is extremely washboard. Our eggs where scrabbled inside their shells by the time we got done the 1.2 miles back to the camp site.

1. Needs better signage for the group sites. Enter only by reservation or invite. Several people tried to take spots within our group site. 2. Road from highway to campsite needs to be graded. 3. Tree branches overhanging the road and at the corners of the road need to be cut back so they dont hit campers as they pull through.

Great place, as always. Camp host, Ron, was absolutely wonderful. Bathrooms were kept clean and he was very helpful. Only disappointing part of our trip was all the dead fish in the lake. After we left, we read an article about an algae bloom present there. We were never told anything about it. Thank goodness none of our dogs got sick. There were a total of 12 in our group sites. Obviously the bloom is no fault of anyone. We just wish someone told us while we were there. We did enjoy our stay. We will always go back. Nice quiet campground with excellent cool weather.

A pleasant camping trip was ruined by a lack of campground management and disregard for rules. Excessive noise from a generator and rowdy, whiskey-drinking neighbors created an unsafe atmosphere. Multiple campers and tents on single sites, along with unauthorized vehicles and off-leash dogs, were present. The manager failed to enforce leash laws, resulting in a terrifying encounter with unleashed dogs. The manager's response to the incident prioritized lecturing over addressing safety concerns. This led to our early departure. This campground should be avoided due to generator fumes, aggressive unleashed dogs, and incompetent management prioritizing unruly campers over guest safety and comfort.

Shaded and well spaced lots, clean restroom areas and they had toilet paper, quiet at night

Luna Lake campground was neat, clean and well managed. Staff was friendly and cooperative. The site we were at was not very level so extra blocks for leveling was needed. The lake level was really low so kayaking was difficult. Hulsey lake was a great take in. Fishing was very good.

Very beautiful campground, but there are very few spaces that are level. They are also quite tight!Tough for us elders to park!

Nice area ! We enjoyed our stay

This campground is very peaceful because spaces are well-separated and have sufficient trees for shade and privacy. Nice lake views from some of them. We've stayed there four times, all different spaces, and it was somewhat difficult to level the trailer on each space because the area is hilly. Campgrounmd host is helpful but not intrusive. Good place to stay to see the elk, drive around to see the big horn sheep, and to enjoy the beauty of the White Mountains.
@JeffC9633298 · Camped on May 28, 2024 at Campsite #18
Camp host, Boyd, very nice and helpful. Grounds well kept. Trails are more like 4x4 roads but extensive. Some pull throughs are a bit tight for long trailers.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
