My trailer is 27 feet long. I drive an F 250 and I could not fit into site 23. I tried for about 45 minutes to fit into the camp site. I had to almost jackknife my rig from the road and when I would try to swing my truck out to straighten the truck with the trailer I would run over large decorative rocks and boulders and also had to deal with a steep incline on the truck side. I was worried that I would damage my truck and trailer. I finally gave up and looked for the host but she was nowhere on site. This was terribly frustrating but fortunately we found a site in Central City to camp for the next few days. I did notice that most of the trailers in this part were of the smaller variety and would suggest that anything over about 18 feet would have trouble with this campground. I have never heard from the campground about a refund and I can't find a phone number to discuss my issue with anyone. We are extremely disappointed with this campground as we were looking forward to camping here. Beware!

I often stay at Lowry campground because it is small, has electric hook-ups and is centrally located to Summit County activities. This visit there was limited water which was an inconvenience to many campers who came expecting to be able to fill up their tanks.

The view from the campground toward the mountains is lovely! We enjoyed being in a small campground separate from the huge ones next to Dillon Reservoir. We could walk a short distance down the road for a good view of the reservoir. By walking a short distance up the ridge we could look down on the whole Keystone area, which was lovely and green -- but we were happy to be away from all that development. We especially enjoyed the Dillon Nature Preserve.There are lots of activities, stores and restaurants in the area, although we usually avoid such things.

Awesome location. Off the beaten path but close to Breckinridge and Frisco

Location is fine, vault toilets were clean. The biggest problem is how close the trailer next to me parked, I could literally put my hands out and touch his trailer. My dogs heard every noise from the trailer, causing them to bark, including at midnight when they came back from what sounded like a night of drinking. Would have been nice to have a dump facility. I left a day early and went to dispersed camping instead.

Camped in site 17 with our old pop up trailer. Great views from this site! Bathroom was very clean and campground was nice. Only downside is site 19, site 18, and site 17 are all sandwiched together. Site 18 should be eliminated altogether, I can't believe it is kept operational. Thankfully no one ever showed up while we were there. Site 17 and site 19 are bookends and 18 is in the middle. Do not book 18!

We often camp at Lowry's and generally enjoy this campground and location. This June, however, we were disappointed with our camping spot -- #22. The spot was so narrow, we could barely fit the trailer (28 ft) and our pickup. We were unable to open the canopy due to the location of a tree (right next to the trailer). And because the campers in the spot next to us parked three vehicles on their site (along with a trailer and tent), we could not sit alongside our trailer without staring directly at their vehicles.

It was very clean, and the camp host was great.Beautiful we'll be back and let our friends know about it. Thank you

The location was beautiful and easy to book but for the entirety of my trip there was no camp host available and no way to contact them. Had to drive into Dillon twice for firewood when there was plenty available at the campsite but no way to access it without the hosts being there.Again, gorgeous location! And luckily Dillon is right there

Stayed at site 22. Sites are a little close together, but we had a great weekend! Everyone was courteous of the quiet hours. Having the electric hook up was an added bonus.

Wonderful little campground. Very clean (including restrooms). Only drawback was that the water was shut down for some reason, but we received enough notice to fill the fresh water tank in our RV prior to arrival.

Website indicates sites 17/18/19 could all handle 30 RVs. That is not remotely accurate. We were in #17 and have a 28 that we barely squeezed in with then no room to park. It sits right on top of 18, uncomfortably close. Campground was nice overall, just not accurate with lengths. Great views!

sites 17, 18, and 19 should really be 2 sites not 3. if you booked site 19 and have a 25+ft camper cross your fingers that site 18 is unoccupied. also will need to drive in against the "one way only" sign as it will be near impossible to back in otherwise coming from the other direction.

Not able to use water in camper tank. No shower facilities or flushing toilet. No dump station. Overall, the campground gave the appearance of a junk yard.

This is the second time I have stayed at this campsite. It is great because it has electrical hook ups. The sites are close together, and there are no trees. It is close to Breckenridge, close to the bike path, close to Frisco.

A great jumping off location for Breckinridge, Silverthorne, Dillon area of White River National Forest. Lots of trails for hiking and biking and for short walks to incredible views-sometimes a challenge to find so do your homework before you arrive! Very small quiet campground which encourages campers to share information about area attractions.

Beautiful campsite, clean restrooms, great views!

the water is bad here so they have turned it off and you can't put any in your rig. The little we got into water bottles was brown. The dump station 6 miles away with a little trickle of water and dump facilities has a long line. There were extra cars and people in the campground, the host was not doing his job. I would not recommend this place, try Heaton Bay instead which is close by.

Great campground with excellent views. The host was extremely helpful when we broke off a key in the lock. 5 star in my book.

Nice to have electric, but many of the spots would have been on top of one another if you had an RV/camper.Our spot was fine, but picnic table was falling apart and neighboring campsites electric didnt work so they shared with us.While campsite and ground were just fine, great hike up Windy Point across the road and easy access to both Dillon and Frisco.
@GaryH6725051 · Camped on Jul 22, 2024 at Campsite #10
Site 011 is not a good site for a trailer. Not level and only room for a 20 foot trailer, no room to park vehicle. Power poles for campground come into this site. Access to fire pit and picnic table are up a rocky incline and 50 feet from trailer.

Loved the campground and the location. It was close to town which was convenient at times, but the campground felt remote. The site was walk in, which I didn't realize when I booked, but it ended up being perfect once I got settled in. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful camp site with great views. Pit toilets were spotless. Friendly hosts. Great location quiet but close to Frisco and Dillon. All around, a great experience.

Beautiful scenic campground! Easy to access and very close to frisco, and its very well maintained. Other than disruptive neighbors we had a lovely time!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
