I stayed at site 24 and it was quite nice. Very quiet even outside of quiet hours and the bathrooms were immaculate, not even one cobweb in a corner! Water was provided for putting out fires. The tent spot was a little sloped and probably couldnt accommodate more than a 3-person tent, but if push came to shove you could set a bigger tent up in the driveway and youd be alright. Other sites had bigger and flatter tent spots, so you kind of get what you get. I hiked 8 miles nearby without seeing another soul, so if youre looking for a secluded area, this is your campground.

Beautiful area. The camp hosts were wonderful. Yhe only negative was the camping spots were not level and there wasnt much shade. But we had a wonderful time.

It was a great experience other than the weather being a bit cold at night. The campground was well maintained.

the bathrooms wear clean outhouse style and camp ground was clean and nicely kept but i just wish there was running water and a shower house we went here in mid Oct. and they had shut off the three water fossettes that are in the camp ground do to cold weather that was coming

Convenient base camp for this area of the White River National Forest. The campground is well maintained. We give the campground hosts and other staff a A+.

What a beautiful CG in a beautiful setting. The host was wonderful and informative. Our site was great with shade for our trailer. Make sure to drive the Flats Top Wilderness scenic byway which runs from this CG to Yampa- stunning views! Allow plenty of time for multiple stops and then to get back. Will definitely stay again! Wish the biting flies were not there but that cant be helped.

Generally had a very nice time tent camping with wife and two teenage sons in early July at camp site 023. Hosts were friendly and keep bathrooms very clean. Our site like most had plenty of tree cover for privacy. Site was a bit sloped from rod to pit/tent area which wasnt ideal but ok. The pit being in the ground was a little awkward and it got flooded out on the first day of rain. Be ready for an intense mosquito presence (maybe just our bad luck with rain). Lots of birds, some ground squirrels but nothing big like elk or bears. Can hear river from site and east access from camp although it was difficult to find nice spots on the river to wade in so you should research that if you want to experience the river. Trappers Lake offered a great nearby hike. Would stay again. Side activity was Meekers July fourth range call celebration which was a bit disappointing, especially the bank robbery reenactment, but it was interesting to learn about the town history.

Excellent hosts with a clean campground and bathrooms! A lot of the sites seemed to be uneven but ours was mostly good. Lots of good OHV trails and wildlife in the area! Will definitely stay again.

campgrounds were clean and in great shape. There was a group of us we had 5 sites mostly near the entrance other than the weather beating on us one of our days it was a great stay. Camp host was nice kept things clean and in order. Plenty of firewood, fishing. AT & T and T mobile had cell service. We have always enjoyed our stay here and this time was no different. If hauling you can fill water tanks in Meeker so no need to be heavy going over the passes also you can dump there as well. Great hiking and river fishing

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
