Far out from Denver but man oh man was it worth it. Campsites were empty, the hiking trail is GORGEOUS. Greg the camp host was super nice as well! Highly recommend

Camp ground was great. Site 16 was nice with an off to the side spot for our tent. Close to the pit toilets but behind the trees. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained for what they are. Theres a hand pump for water which we used primarily for washing and putting out the fire. Hiking trails within walking distance of the camp area. No need to use the car to get to the hiking trailhead.The one negative is I only needed Thursday and Friday night but because I reserved online, I had to pay for Saturday night too. If I would have waited to pay, if not already reserved, I could have just paid for the nights I wanted at the campground.

Nice campground. Host does a good job keeping the bathrooms and sites clean. He was very friendly. Nice access to hiking trails. Plenty of shade at most sites. Water is available but only one station and it's a hand pump so that knocks down a star.

We stayed three nights with four horses at our two site, 19 and 20. 19 was great for tent camping and our LQ trailer tucked in nicely at 20. We liked the shade of these two sites. The sites were well maintained and the vault toilets clean. We loved the trails!

This is a great campground for horse camping. Getting water for the horses is kind of a pain so recommend bringing lots of water with you. Trails out of camp are awesome! Will definitely come again!

The camp host was super friendly and kept the campground in tip top shape. The trails were beautiful and well maintained. We came late spring and the wildflowers and running water was heavenly

Campsite was excellent and clean. Camp hosts that I met were helpful, hardworking and friendly. They trimmed the grass/brush, fixed the dumpsters and checked on us often as we were out hunting late. They kept an eye on our gear. I have stayed at these Marvine sites before for over ten years and this was the best I have seen it.

Beautiful location, well kept sites. Camp host was fantastic! Very helpful and personable.Bathrooms however were the only mediocre part. That being said, it was very obvious that the camp host did not have the necessary tools, supplies, or resources to competently take care of this portion. Scarce water resources, deck scrubbers, odor deterants, etc.,I have seen this before. That being said. I remeber a camp host once that had a water tank and pressure washer on his company truck. Bathrooms were spotless and zero odor.Give your camp hosts better and more resources. I'm a man, dont really care, I'll piss and number 2 in the woods, no biggie. However, The ladies, moms, kids?

Campground was neat and clean, corrals were good with the exception of the closing poles that couldve been a little more sturdy. Camp host was wonderful and very attentive. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

Standard camp ground. Bear boxes and a fire ring at each site. Most are located in the trees so not muhc in the way of views but completely fine.

When we arrived, there were two Trucks and two trailers in our single reserved camp site. They had reserved other sites but moved into our camp site before we arrived. We never got the site we reserved !

Such a beautiful area!

Amazing resource! We had a wonderful few days of riding, a new trail each day. The corrals are well maintained. No shade option (not typically a problem at this altitude) but something to be aware of. Water hydrant isn't super convenient, but it is accessible. Bear boxes were at each corral. I can't wait to go back.

Equestrian group with the Mesa County Sheriff's Posse. We had thee best time ever. Thankful for the corrals so I could sleep well. The trail to the lake was fantastic! Thanks again.

There are so many great trails leading out from this campground that give you different experiences- one in the deep woods, one along a creek and one leading up a valley to some small lakes. Great place with lots of shaded areas.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
