Leith Run Campground is located in the Athens Ranger District, Wayne National Forest (33 min northeast of Parkersburg, WV) with an elevation of 607 feet. There are a total of 23 campsites including 3 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from mid April to mid October. 18 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 90 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 20 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $15.00 to $55.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

My absolute favorite place to go camping. Love the small feeling of the campground. Not like some places where Ive been where there are 500 campsites. Being along the river and watching the water flow by and watching the wildlife. My only issue is the same at ALL campgrounds are people bringing their noisy dogs. Some dogs are great but it seems like every camper that I stay beside has that one barking noisy dog. I work hard and when we go camping its for the peace and quiet. But that never seems to be the case. Along with every campground! We leave our dog at home with a house sitter so we do not bother anyone else. RESPECT!

Loved our site (11). Awesome view of the river. Have a class A and had no.problem extending the slides. Loved it so much that we rebooked the same site for July.

The park could have been beautiful but was not maintained. The grass wasnt cut. The trails werent cleared and bridges rotten. The shower house with flush toilets was shut down. It had been shut down for months. The vault toilets were clean. The dump station didnt drain wan put sewerage out on the ground through the drain fields.

We've stayed at Leith Run multiple times over the last couple years and have never had a bad experience. It's small and peaceful, but if you are on a site close to the river, you do tend to hear traffic noise from Route 2 on the WV side of the river.

Very nice and well kept campground. Camp Host was very friendly. The bathhouse had plenty of very hot water for showers. The only problem is it Doesnt have Full Hookups, electric only.

We have found the campground to be relaxing and easy to move around. On one hand we like that it is smaller but on the other side you have to get your reservations in earlier if you are traveling with more than one camper.

We love it here - small and private, on the Ohio River, barges coming through and the sound of trains traveling across the river. Just beautiful!

It would be helpful if when a site is occupied as "first come first served", that it would show up on the website as soon as possible by camp host. We Love this campground and tell lots of folks about it.

Great campground, clean facilities. No host.Major problem we encountered is that reservations are frequently not posted on the site posts and we found someone at our reserved spot.

We love Leith Run. It is no frills but the location on the river is all we need and they keep everything nice. Bathroom is clean and even though there is only one shower I had the bath house to myself every time I went in there.
