Beautiful campground. Helpful host. Unfortunately most facilities were closed due to construction when it was obvious no construction was going on. No showers, flush toilets. The main trail to the trail across the highway was closed. These facilities should be on the fast track to be reopened for full camper experience. Disappointing. We still salvaged a good stay with the wonderful view of the river.

We love Leith Run. It is no frills but the location on the river is all we need and they keep everything nice. Bathroom is clean and even though there is only one shower I had the bath house to myself every time I went in there.

Well-maintained facilities and grounds. This is a beautiful campground. Be aware that you are away from distractions. By that I mean there is no television available even with a good antenna. Cell access is limited to some access right down by the river. It looks like riding on a picocell in one of the houses on the other side of the river. We met some nice people who came down to the water to check email and make calls.
We are definitely going to be back at this tiny but mighty campground.

We enjoy camping here it was clean and very nice host. We have a trip planned in June and can't wait to be back.

First time at this campground. It was very well taken care of and a beautiful place to camp. Great view of the river and plenty areas to fish. Shower house was very clean. Very quiet in the campground. The only negative comment that I have (and it doesnt have anything to do with the campground) is the road noise from across the river. There is constant traffic and tractor trailers de to being a heavily traveled road.

Great campground, truly a hidden gem. Camp host was nice and left us to our business. One of my favorite trips.

Leith Run is a lovely spot on the Ohio River. The Scenic River trail hike to the rocky mountain top has fantastic views. We would of given this a higher rating if our site wasn't listed wrong. Site 12 is short and can only fit a 20 foot or shorter camper. The host was great and moved us to site 4 but this was not on the water as we had planned.

Site was a little small for our 20 ft camper and steep, had to let front jack all the way down to get almost level, had to block the main road while un-hooking and hooking up. Nice campground would stay again but not the same site

Riverside view is outstanding, but the park is in need of some maintenance. The bathroom / shower house is the worst I've ever encountered: the (blank) cleaning check off sheet on the door dated from April and by the looks of them they MAYBE were last cleaned in March. Poop in toilet bowl, mud and paper towels on shower floor remained throughout our stay, as did the dust around the sink. Many sites as well as the walking path are prone to forming deep puddles after a rain and many campsites (including ours) saw the paved portion covered with mud after heavy rains.On the plus side, the host was friendly, but came across as a bit nosey and seemed more interested in dropping in on the campers than in performing any real work. (I also noticed that some of the "site reserved" signs in the campsites were from 2 years ago!). As mentioned, the view is outstanding and the campers there were quiet and considerate of one another. I would stay here again, but plan on using the facilities in the camper rather than those provided.

Park was great but what they called a 30 foot spot was more of a boat ramp Too steep and way too short

We were told our 30 foot trailer would fit Maybe a 20 footer .Plus the lot looked more like a boat ramp so steep it was. There have been no way to level it front to back. We always had great luck at Leif Run. Reversions were under Karen Barr My wife for the 30 of April. Your host was not of any use. We have always loved our state parks. The site was number 12. We will be back. Next run in two weeks East Harbor state park

Great camp ground. The camp host is excellent. I do wish that people would not leave their dirty gloves at the dump station....there is a dumpster near by... dont be lazy and disrespectful.. dispose of your own gloves!I would love to be able to camp there longer than 14 days in a 30 day time frame.
