Horseshoe Bend Campground is located in the North Umpqua Ranger District, Umpqua National Forest (54 min east of Roseburg, OR) with an elevation of 1,844 feet. There are a total of 25 campsites. The campground is normally open from the end of May to mid September. 24 sites can accommodate RVs up to 35 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Prices start at $15.00 per night. Some amenities include swimming. Activities include fishing.

Love this campground. Quiet. Many sites right by the beautiful N Umpqua. A definite plan to return next season is in the works!!

What a lovely jewel of a campground! The sites are spacious and most have access to the N. Umpqua River. In September, the campground is quiet and those that are there seem to truly value the beauty and wildness of the place. Mike, the campground host, is a wonderful person who loves the land as if it is his own, and does his job with efficiency and care. We'll be back!

Great roomy campsite, lush, bathrooms clean, camp host was very nice, a gentleman. Neighbors quiet, respectful andwell, experienced. River and frog music at night with stars overhead, a great experience. Im a backpacker I seldom car camp as my past experiences have been less than desirable this restored my faith. For now.ha.

Lovely campground that was covered by the trees. Made it quite dark, but is not something that should hold you back. Some campsites have river access. If youre coming out of the east there is no sing that marks the entrance of the campground, use a map or navigation.

Great experience! Clean, quiet campground with easy access to the river and the highway, yet not directly off the highway. We first stayed in the group campground and loved it so much that we returned within a month! The location is also perfect for doing other activities such as hiking, rafting, swimming (in the lakes around the area), etc. We definitely recommend it!

Horseshoe Bend is a great campground for paddlers paddling sections of the North Umpqua. We found the campground clean and well cared for. The camp host was very friendly and personable. He did a great job of running the campground.

Campground was pretty empty, as we camped mid week. Very quiet. Host was great. The site perfect, #17, small and just above the sound of the rapids. Just a couple of sites down (22) nice easy access to beach and great swimming hole (for my dog anyway .. still a bit cold for me)

This is a very quiet beautiful setting. The camp host was very friendly informative and helpful. Bathrooms were very clean. Waterfalls around the area are spectacular.

Showed up and someone elses name was on my campsite. I drove around for over an hour trying to figure out if maybe it was somewhere else. Tried to hollar at the host and knock on their door 4 times and no one was there to help. We ended up having to leave and get another site on the coast almost 2 hours away. What a waste of my time.

Sites were excellent, camp host was friendly, and there's a general store about a mile up the road for ice and anything you forgot at home. This has great access to Toketee Lake and other cool waterfalls along the Umpqua River. Our stay in the first half of August was great until wildfire smoke settled in and was pretty intense. Not the fault of the park though- it's a beautiful spot, and federal campgrounds with flush toilets are hard to find!

Excellent experience. HOWEVER WE DISCOVERED THAT BEAVER SITE 09 IS BOOKED BY THE SAME FAMILY THE ENTIRE SUMMER and it is impossible to reverve that site. Camp host Mike knows but is unable to act. This should NOT be allowed. I would appreciate a response.

Beautiful setting. Camp host awesome. Road needs to be maintained better at least run a grader down the sides to expose the asphalt thats over grown and clean ditches so road last longer .

Love this campground! This year the yellow jackets were bad but overall I enjoy camping here. Beautiful scenery, bathrooms with running water, and access to a swimming spot
