Boulder Flat was perfect! We were at campsite 2 which is such a great spot in the campground - its right by the entrance to the campground but its not busy with traffic or anything. Its a larger site with easy river access and not far from the vault toilet (but not too close that you can smell it). One hour drive to Crater Lake & 20 minutes to Umpqua Hot Springs! You definitely have to pop over to the Dry Creek store too (cute store dogs + an insane selection of pringles lol). Overall, recommend Boulder Flat!!

Peaceful and beautiful campground along the North Umpqua River. We camped at Site 3 and could hear the river from our site. Even though there is not a camp host, the cleanliness of the vault toilet was 5 stars and there was an abundance of toilet paper. Overall we loved our campsite. It did have a path to the river but it was slightly overgrown where as Site 2 was not. This would not keep me from staying at #3 again. Other sites that I would also consider staying are 5 and 6 because there is also a great view of the river. Campsite 3's view of the river was hidden by several mossy trees which was also very nice. Campsite 9 would be a great site for a group, but it is not near the river as the other sites are. Will definitely return! Toketee Falls Trailhead is also close by and a great hike to check out too.

Site #6 has the best river access and a swimming hole, I stayed here for 3 nights. BUT, every day all day you could smell the nasty restroom thats right in front of the campground. Smelled like shit at our campground it was disgusting. Made some calls and tried to get someone to come out and clean it but nobody ever came.

The campground and site were as beautiful as always BUT the smoke from fires in the Willamette Valley made the environment unhealthy so I stayed only the first night of 5 that were reserved.

This park was one of the parks that I visited on my 20-day road trip. This park is one of the most beautiful parks I have ever seen. I have been to Switzerland this this year as well, and I have to tell you that I really thought I was back in Switzerland when I saw this park. The campsite was very clean and at a great location. There are a few hikes around that campsite. The campsites are nicely spaced out so you're not that close to the next site. I had a great time there.

Gorgeous, but **not a safe space for solo female travelers.** I really wish I loved it, but there was nobody on site/was basically a dispersed campsite. There was 0 cell service for miles and the only other group of campers was a group of middle aged/elderly men. I left halfway through unpacking and went to a motel 30 minutes away because I just really didn’t feel safe at all.

I gave it a 3 though because it really was a beautiful spot, there were plenty of trees separating each campsite, it was right next to the river. If I were with a group of friends it would’ve been a great little campsite.

Sites have space. All pretty close to the river if not on it with little paths down. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Had a great time. Will definitely be back.

Drive up the road about a mile and visit the Soda Springs day use area with interesting info about the area and access to the Umpqua River trail. Nice hike!

We loved our stay at Boulder Flat Campground! Highly recommend a visit to Toketee Falls and Umqua Hot Springs just down the road.

It was so nice to sleep next to the rushing Umpqua River in the forest of trees.

Very Peaceful sites along the river. Worked great for our 24 ft motorhome. No hookups, showers, or flush toilets

The campsite was poor due to smoke. We did not go. I love this campsite otherwise!

We stayed at site 7. Great spot right next to the river. Can't smell the bathrooms and nicely distanced from other camps. This spot has universal access to the river via a short trail. We had a few fly fisherman who asked to walk through our camp for river access, but it wasn't excessive. They aren't kidding when the say there's only room for one small tent. We have a REI kingdom tent and had to set it up on the driveway with a tarp underneath behind our car.

Great spot. About 1.5 hrs from fresh water, gas or food so arrive stocked. Water was beautiful over Labor Day but cold.

Beautiful spot. A little noisy being so close to the highway but awesome campground.

Gorgeous riverfront campsite but the smell from the bathroom was almost unbearable. My husband spoke with someone from the forestry department who came by and she mentioned that the bathroom across from sites #5 and #6 is the only vaulted bathroom along the North Umpqua River that smells like that. Thankfully we had a lot of mosquito coils (we didn't experience any mosquitos) and citronella candles to offset the smell.

Loved the small campground right on the river. Our site didn't have a great beach or anything, but it was still lovely. My only complaints were that we were RIGHT next to the highway and the bathrooms were some of the stinkiest ones we'd experienced.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
