Restrooms were well maintained, camp spot was great. Site said there was no water, however, there was water.

Plenty of space, very beautiful . Restroom is not that far but if you have elderly people, I would get something closer to the restrooms but overall good experience.

Its a clean and quiet, beautiful campground. Lots of hikes near by!

"Standard non-electric" is a bit of a misnomer. After making the reservation and getting ready to head out we found a detail about 30 lines down the Facility Info. "No dogs allowed." Possible $600 fine fore even bringing a dog to the campsite.We stayed home. Too late to cancel. Our payment became a donation the the National Park Service.

The campground was nice and clean. The bathrooms were also nice because they were flushing and they were also kept clean. Overall it was a good place to stay and we will stay here again. We also liked the close proximity to the resorts and hikes. The Donut Falls hike and Silver lake were was fun.

Campsite had a gentle creek nearby, which was nice. Near bathrooms, and not too close to other sites. Trees provide a decent amount of shade, and really help with noise isolation. Room for two tents.

The campground and campsite are fantastic. The only issue is that the restrooms are in SEVERE disrepair. Missing stall door, broken faucet and toilet not properly mounted to the floor.

Was a great campground.

Loved it, beautiful. A little 2 point buck, a doe, and a cow moose. Right by the creek, Silver Lake was nice for the kids.

Really great campsite. We went during the week and it was pretty empty. Campsites seemed spaced far enough apart to not feel like you were camping with your neighbors. Potable water spigot near the bathrooms, fire pit with grate, table, great shade and strong trees for hammocks. 2 moose wandered through our site. Definitely coming back

You can't get a prettier campground. We loved all the shade from the plentiful trees and the lushness of the bushes around. There was tons of space for our kids to safely wander and explore. Plenty of clear, flat ground to set up a tent. The biggest downside, the real negative of our experience, were the bugs. Tons and tons of mosquitoes, tons and tons of flies. It was a real damper on the experience. The fire pit that we had was not ideal. It's not very deep, and the cooking grate is very small, so it would have been hard to do any fire pit cooking had we planned to. I noticed other campsites didn't even have the cooking grate, so come prepared on your own.

My Family has a tradition of reserving the same group site at Redman every year and using it as an extended family reunion. We love the size of the group site, how shady it is, that it's close to the flushing toilets so it's convenient without the smell, and that it has potable water on the edge of the camp site.

Beautiful campground! Lots to do near by. Everything was clean. They do close the entrance gate 10 pm -7 am and you can get out but not back in. Sites had lots of trees and privacy. This site is not super flat, keep that in mind if you have a very large tent- ours was small so it was fine. There are 1 stall bathrooms across the road and port a potties near the bathrooms too, although I never had to wait or use them. These did attract some flies. I would highly recommend this campground

Redman is my favorite Campground because of its proximity to Salt Lake, the very large campsites (plenty of room for tents), and the overall beauty with a gorgeous river that runs through the campground. And finally, the restrooms are excellent! Extremely clean and well-maintained. Have camped here many times and always great. We even had a pair of bull moose wander through our campsite last year! What a treat.

Be aware that this campsite is managed by a company that does not post clear cancellation policy. We booked/paid for a stay from Fri to sun, but were unable check in on Fri due to travel conflict. When we showed up on Sat, Rocky the attendant had sold our spot to another group. According to him, its the companys policy to be able to do this if we dont check in the day that we have reserved. Note that there was no info wrt this at all posted anywhere on the reservation/camp site page (even NPS agrees but they arent not able to push the management company for a refund). Unfortunately, to add on to the already negative experience, Rocky seemed incapable of clearly explaining this policy (possibly inebriated) and came off quite defensive for having sold our spot to some one else. He completely lacked professionalism, rude and was not helpful at all. I hope that the company can better train their hosts to ensure positive experience for visitors. And not that while NPS helped us file a complaint and a refund request, the management company rejected the request.

We love this campground so much. It's always so much cooler than in the valley, people are very respectful and quiet, it's such a tranquil experience. We did not interact with the host, but the campsite was perfect. This wasn't our first visit and surely will not be the last either.

Quiet, beautiful and rustic - the bathrooms on this loop are a little TOO rustic though.

Redman is a great little campground with good access to Salt Lake City and the surrounding ski areas. The campground was clean and well organized but my only issue was water access; our campsite had a spigot at it that didn't work and after subsequent investigation I found that the only water working was outside the restrooms (the water didn't work in the sinks in the restrooms also). To me this was a little disappointing as this should be campground 101 stuff. Otherwise we had a great stay.

One of my favorite campgrounds close to Salt Lake City. I've camped at Redman off and on for over 15 years. The higher elevation generally makes it cooler than the valley. Lot's of shady sites.

Great little campground with quite a bit of space! Will visit again!

We reserved Lower 24 and it perfect! Plenty of room for 10 or so tents. Highly recommended!

Good campsite for a smaller group.it is however one of the closest campsites to the road, but it’s not super noticeable

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
