Quiet, clean bathrooms, beautiful scenery from campsite. Camped on a Sunday night, so no noise from construction, and the campground was only about 1/2 full. Loved the close proximity to Cecret Lake.

What a beautiful destination! Small, but so beautiful. We will be back - especially if George and his wife are the camp hosts. They were outstanding.

Directions to the site were perfect. The atmosphere was cool and quiet. We loved Campsite 06! Shady all day! Thanks for a fantastic, affordable, mid-week getaway!

I really appreciated George, one of the hosts. He was a great resource. Thanks!

Site 4 is an excellent site - shaded by pines in the afternoon and no one nearby on either side with the sounds of a small stream behind the site. Wonderful site with a clear view at night of the stars.

Beautiful and cool even when the valley is hot! Plan on bringing a jacket. Keep in mind that some camp spots only have room for one car while others have room for 2+. Highly recommend taking the trail from the campground to Catherine's Pass during sunset!

Great campground although Alta is putting in a new ski chair. Tons of trees were taken down. The best campground hosts! Highly recommend this gem of a campground!

Such a great camping trip! Our spot was great and the host was nice. I loved the little store at the bottom selling ice cream and other stuff. The camp site is so close to Cecret Lake hike so we were able to do that super easily. The site was great with a fire pit and picnic table. Even the porta potties had cute decorations inside. The wildflowers were amazing. Such a great experience!!!

A lot of construction and helicopter activity in the area but we were warned of that upon booking. They take immaculate care of the campgrounds and hiking trails are very close by.A great experience.

This is the loveliest campsite. We were surrounded by wildflowers. The bathrooms were the cleanest I've ever had, and the camp hosts were lovely and helpful. We saw a moose and a fox amongst all the smaller critters.

Amazing campground, a must stay.
@KelsieJBC4E370 · Camped on Jul 17, 2025 at Campsite #16
Great location! The campground is surrounded by trees and gorgeous views of the mountains, and campsites were decently spaced apart to allow for privacy and peace and quiet. It was somewhat difficult to get comfortable at night though because the tent pad was sloped, and there was lot of light pollution from Salt Lake coming over the mountains.
@ElizabethH3073 · Camped on Jul 16, 2025 at Campsite #4
We loved camping here! There were many fun activities to keep us busy during our trip, like hiking and animal watching. The site was well maintained and the neighbors and camp hosts were friendly! There was lots of good firewood, and also lots of mosquitos.

World class alpine campground. Perfect in every way.

We camp at Albion usually twice a year. The open season varies widely with snow and resort (Alta) construction. Depending on the campsite, there are varying degrees of peace and calm. Generally try to get something on the eastern side. Regardless its always on our list. Oh and the camp hosts make it very nice.

Great location. The view is fantastic and the camp host was the best. Hiking around the campground and up to Cecret Lake was the best. It was a very good experience and will go again.

Such an amazing beautiful place. Wildflowers were in full bloom. Easy to get there and was very quiet in the morning/during night. Only con was loud children in surrounding campsites but what can you do .
@RachelleCD3379 · Camped on Jul 19, 2024 at Campsite #22
We love Albion Basin. Its one of the most beautiful and accessible spots to camp in Utah. We don't love that you have to book 6 months in advance to get a reservation.
@RyanH4459660 · Camped on Jul 12, 2024 at Campsite #22
Beautiful campground. Bugs were plentiful so make sure you bring spray. Camp hosts were kind and made sure bathrooms were well kept.

Great spot. Awesome views of the ski resort. Close to trailhead. Some construction was happening when we stayed there, not sure how long itll be happening
@SarahW4027937 · Camped on Sep 6, 2023 at Campsite #9
We had the most amazing time camping here! The night we got in, we saw a momma moose right alongside the road as we were driving in, and she has her baby with her. It was amazing!! We hiked Cecret Lake, which is a "must" if you stay in this area. Just watch the trail closely once the switchbacks start or you will wind up on a pretty sketchy trail. =)
@AndrewW8618299 · Camped on Aug 13, 2023 at Campsite #5
The campground was excellent. The views are spectacular. The area is all around beautiful. The only negative of this campground is the proximity to the cecret lake hiking trail. We had people hiking through all night long including a group that came through at 1 AM talking very loudly with no respect to the campers.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
