The park was quite, clean and just a pleasant place to stay. The park hosts were friendly and took care of any needs we had.

The electrical system needs boosting. On a holiday weekend, like when we were there, when there's a lot of demand, we kept having a breaker blow.

Our campsite was very clean and mowed. The site was pretty level for camper. I never used the ladies room but I went to the showers. Water runs 10 seconds then you push a button to run another 10 seconds. It needed cleaning and it was not air conditioned. Playground was nice. Kids enjoyed it. Park does not have a designated swimming area. You can swim wherever you want. We went out in the boat and jumped in.

we have been going to this park for years and I am disappointed in how the park has been going down hill so much! Some of the attendants are very rude. the park needs updates on the electric boxes because all you can run is your air conditioner and nothing else without the breaker going off then you have to go throw it back on even during the night! The grass is so deep your fur babies get stickers in their hair and get so wet when they go out! The pads you park on for your RV needs updated! Some of the picnic tables needs repair!

We had a great time, just wish the swimming area had been open.

It would have been better if it was not for the inclement weather. No fault of the park

I've been camping at San Augustine Park for over 30 years, and we just wrapped up another great week there. As always, the natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere make it a favorite destination for our family.During our stay, we did experience an issue with our electrical box losing one leg of power. Thankfully, the current team managing the park responded quickly and professionally. They had the box replaced with an upgraded unit by the next morning, which we truly appreciated.That said, it's worth noting that there are still many of the older square electrical boxes throughout the park that are likely due for replacement. Upgrading these boxes should be made a priority to help prevent future issues and avoid potential damage to campers equipment.We love this park and want to see it continue to improve and thrive for years to come.

Being that it was a holiday weekend. A busy time for the camping area. Wouldnt been very nice to have had the grass cut. The grass was knee high and very snaky if I may say so myself On top of that the place could use a face lift. Rework the rv slots so there not rolling towards the lake when you unhook. Bathroom hot water and stalls could use some updating. At least let the water stay on for a lil longer than 15sec. The area is beautiful. Try to keep up with the park a lil better

Love the park, the only problem is no 50 amp boxes. Not much around there except for the park, the store has closed down so no place to get essentials.

We had a storm come through and it ripped the canap off the camper. We were trapped inside the camper a neighber camper came and moved the arm off the camper door so we could get out. The attendent never stopped to check to see if everyone was ok. We left a week before our scheduled checkout. had to go home to see how much damage was done to our camper. The camp ground is very nice. Would like to see 50 amp spaces.

Very nice camp ground and aside from a stray cat bugging my dog it was the perfect weekend. The folks that managed the location were very friendly and nice.

Our 1st time here. Very clean campsites .. heck, everywhere!, & beautiful! Rode bikes, sailed, had campfires with friends, & walked. Even had clean bathrooms with showers. Only reason I knocked off a star is that a sign in the window of the front gate booth saying Go (Here) for Help would be really helpful. After someone pointed out the camp host, we saw her out & about EVERY day (she did a great job!). Well be back.

Pleasantly surprised that our campsite had been prepared for our arrival. Campground attendants had cleared the area of pine straw, sticks, etc. The restrooms were spotless. We were the only campers on our side of the park and we enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The park is well maintained and we had a waterfront site which allowed us to watch boaters and waterfowl. Highly recommend the campground.

Beautiful & peaceful location by Lake Sam Rayburn for camping/RVing. Lots of opportunities for birding, photography, fishing and boating. Not very busy at this time of year and everyone I met was friendly. Going back!

Very quiet and beautiful place, although the lake has many turtles that eat the bait of the fishermen.

Always a beautiful place to camp and fish!!!

Site was awsome and entries are good. Had issues with the 30 amp breaker feeding the camper. Our camper doesn't draw 30 amps and the breaker kept tripping. I think the breaker is just worn out. Also the faucet had evidently not been used in a while and the wayer smaller like rotten egs for about the first 50 gallons of water. Site is beautiful, easy access for a 40' camper.
@RICKYB6581944 · Camped on Sep 12, 2024 at Campsite #81
Fishing was great, the only thing was was the showers was a little to warm.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
