My best friend and I camp at this campground twice a year and it is always amazing. Absolutely no phone/internet service so it allows you to disconnect from the world. Plenty to do(trails/water) or not do(relax). I am always telling people about this campground. Highly recommend!

First time in the area and it was absolutely beautiful...we were looking to see Comet Lemmon and the skies didn't disappoint...no light pollution, no cell reception, and total quiet made for the perfect getaway...will be returning next month for the Leonoid Meteor Shower peak and can't wait

My only complaint is I didn't go earlier

I really enjoyed this small campground! I had site 2 and was tucked into a corner alongside the Obed River. The tent pad was quite large and I had privacy on all sides except the driveway. Pit toilets were very clean. There are trees between the site and the water, but there is a short path to access the river. Loved hearing the sound of a flowing river all weekend.

It was very quiet there, just myself. It was mid-September after all. The river is beautiful, next time I would like to do some kayaking in the area. Site #1 is a bit odd, it's right next to the day use parking lot, I felt better nestled in with the other sites, closer to the river. The tent areas are very flat, which was nice. Bear boxes for your food and waste. A couple of NPS employees came in to check up on things, very friendly, not being nosy at all.

Steep narrow gravel road down to camp is a little concerning in the rain.

Very nice primative campground. Convenient to town. Beautiful scenery.

Very peaceful and quiet. Cell reception is zero so plan for peace and quiet and family time or just time to enjoy the company you are with.

Visitors should be aware that there is no cell signal at the campground and the map of campsites is very ambiguous. Do you homework before reserving a campsite and traveling to the campground.

Rock Creek CG is a basic CG with pit toilets. No potable water is available. Nice location.

The campground was great and the trails were gorgeous!

Nice and quiet. The campsite is really remote - no WiFi, so plan to reserve before heading there. There were only us and another group there the night we stayed there. There is access to a river where my husband took a quick dive into before we left.

Excellent campground great location. The camp sites were roomy and well-spaced. The bear boxes are something I would like to see in other campgrounds.

Clean and well taken care of. We always enjoy camping here and look forward to more adventures in the future!

Campsite 1 was at the entrance to the camp and had the most space and seclusion of all the sites. A short walk to the bathroom, but not bad. I loved hearing the rushing stream right off behind the site. Overall a very relaxing campsite. No cell service was a plus!

This is a wonderful small campground with a very remote feel. Proximity to the river is lovely, and theres plenty of wildlife viewing to be had. We had campfires both nights without having to bring in any wood, and the toilets at a primitive campground were an added plus.

Sweet and polite employees! The first 5 RV sites are right next to each other, not my favorite set up. Small hiking trails with moss connection closed due to construction.

The campsite was beautiful and peaceful and not too commercial. There is incredible stuff in the area, like rock climbing.
@LindseyB902967 · Camped on Oct 4, 2024 at Campsite #8
Campsite was clean, bathroom was well-kempt. Zero issues at all. There was a really cool bear-proof metal box at every campsite to store your food too, which was really helpful.

The fire rings need to be shorter. It's hard to have a fire with very little oxygen! Lower the fire rings!! Please!!!

Campground was fine. Ranger patrolling it was unnecesarrily aggressive and threatening. I remember them being helpful stewards back in the day. Now some act like wannabe authoritarian cops.

My family and I stayed over New Year's Eve 2023 and are planning on going back. It was clean, the NP rangers we interacted with were kind and helpful, and the place itself was beautiful. Site 1 was more secluded than the rest of the sites if you are looking to be away from another camp site. Sites 2-11 you can see the other camp sites but there is plenty of room between to feel separate. The hiking was moderate and had great views. Also had great access to the river, my nephew as disappointed that he forgot a fishing pole.

Somebody was in our site when we got there, and no cell signal to call or adjust our reservation. Need a check-in office.Other than that, place was beautiful, peaceful. Great place to stargaze! Would love to come back and explore more!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
