Beautiful place, however, only a couple of sites are level. Also, tent sites do not accommodate RVs or vans. Sites #3 & 4 were level.

Site, 04 is one of the best sites we have ever rented. It's super spacious and feels very secluded. We will 100% be going back.

#7 is the best spot, close to restroom, private and overall a great spot. We had a blast caught 3 fish, enjoyed the wildlife, found lots of mushrooms.

We did not make it all the way up the mountain to the campground. Although we had camped there many, many years ago and were looking forward to it, we felt uneasy about going that deep into the mountain. The "town" at the bottom of the hill seemed sketchy, which added to our uneasiness. We are an older couple, and didn't feel comfortable.

The lake and campground are beautiful. Also there is a resident Bald eagle!!! Good fishing in the lake. (The Eagle thinks so too). Wonderful campground hosts (Tom & Joan). They keep the campground spotless. And are pleasant, and helpful to talk to.

Very nice campground, check in process is truly unbelievable. Upon arriving at this somewhat remote forest campground, you'll be informed by the camp host, who is a live person, I'm assuming being paid to be there, that they cannot give you a reservation or take your money. You have to get on your phone, which does not have service and scan a QR code, which does not work without phone service. You can drive around the area trying to get 1 bar of coverage on your phone so you can call a recreation.gov phone number, and wait on hold to make a reservation. What a system!

Site 4 is the best site by FAR! Be sure to bring lots of drinking water and firewood if you plan on using the firepit. There is no drinking water or firewood. Reserve ahead, there's no other way to pay for day use or camping than on rec.gov. and the internet can be spotty or nonexistent. Beautiful, quiet lake full of really good fishing, stocked trout. A walking path around the lake has benches and docks. The trail is also fun but can be steep in some spots and narrow.

Beautiful drive to get to the campground. Stayed in site 2 and it was perfect. Its the first spot on the left when you enter. Private. Drive up site. On the lake. Nice and big and pretty level ground for the most part. Good canopy of trees but still some sky to see the stars. Site 1 which is directly across would be my second choice. Its up a small slope across from 2 but its more private and has a little squared off section for a tent, dividing it from the fire pit and picnic table which is cool.

This gem is being overused, evidenced from the volume of fishing line fragments hanging from trees, trapping wildlife, to the bobbers and litter keeping the hosts busy. It is small enough that the experience will be largely influenced by the behavior of others who are also camping, like loud and unaware campers. Experiences may vary.

The campground was clean, easy to find, and had all updated rules/fire info etc posted clearly. The park hosts were incredible kind. We are already talking about going back! It was quaint, but also so close to many things to do

Not for noisy campers, swimmers or motor boats. Hidden gem! Small, quaint, tranquil, very clean. Outhouses and campsites were pristine. The eco system is absolutely stunning. The sounds and smells were something to remember. Like a mini rainforest. Take the 8 mile trail, hike as far as you want, but go. Its like being in a fairytale, it took my breath away.

Hebo Lake Campground is a peaceful, beautiful escape nestled in the Siuslaw National Forest. We stayed at a quiet, well-maintained site with easy access to the lake and a short trail that led to one of our favorite moments of the trip, a small bench overlooking the water.After a day filled with the joyful sounds of kids playing and families fishing, the campground settled into a calm, golden quiet. We wandered down the path near our site and found that bench at just the right time. As the sun dipped low and the lake stilled, we sat together and took in the view. It was peaceful, grounding, and surprisingly emotional. In the quiet, surrounded by nature, we found a moment to slow down, breathe, and just be still.The campground offers vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings, and while it feels rustic, it is clean and comfortable. The lake is stocked for fishing and small enough to walk around, with a dock and plenty of places to sit and take it all in. Whether you are looking for outdoor fun or a chance to unwind and reflect, Hebo Lake delivers.This place has a quiet kind of magic. We will definitely be back.

We camped here as a stop on our way through and I would say Hebo Lake campground is perfect for that purpose. A small, calm, and pleasant campground. Site 9 was very private and we were able to jack-knife our small pop-up camper into the site from the road. Locals spend the day fishing from the stocked pond (Hebo Lake) in the day use area. Unfortunately, they are careless with their lines and snagged line hangs from almost every tree around the pond into the water and on the bank. The Pioneer - Indian trail is accessible from the campground.

We were in site 4. The bathrooms were very clean, the fish were biting, and the site was large. Site 4 was one of the more private sites at the campground, even though it is next to the disabled site. It had enough brush and cover from the trees to feel hidden. The restrooms were right across the camp road and they were very clean. I believe this site could fit 3 or 4 tents easily. During our stay we saw a rabbit, an eagle, deer, a snake, and other small wildlife. The campground was very quiet at night, with the exception of the frogs from the lake. :) Bring your own firewood and water, as the campground does not offer either. Even though this campground is 15 minutes from the town of Hebo, it does feel remote.

Theres a lot of ground hornets there which was a problem although I get its the great outdoors. My little one got stung several times. The bathroom near our campground was very well maintained and the trash was picked up often. I do not recommend spot 10 for anyone. You have to go through someone elses site to access your car and its full of holes everywhere, very difficult to walk. We had 10 and 11 together so 10 was used for the kid area. Otherwise we had fun. The trails are nice and of course the lake small but beautiful. The camp host maintains the area very well! I would also say a bit overpriced but again we def enjoyed our stay for the most part.

Great spot but very, very shaded. Outside of sphinx in the lake, there is nothing else really happening in the immediate vicinity of the park.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
