Great campground! Keep in mind that middle of July early morning temps could drop to about freezing. Sites are protected by trees giving lots of shade. Camp host, Ryan, was great! He was checking grounds several times a day making sure everything is the way it supposed to be. Camp is very family friendly - prefect for families and kids, lots of open space for them to roam, and all was quiet after 9pm. Definitely would come again!

It's been one of the best camping trips ever. Love the place, just couple of feet from the creek. Dunno, it's been an amazing experience!

Spot 16 is haunted. Extra creepy too that its near some random fire road in which anyone can roam out of. Host was nice but behind a wall- which was just awkward. Restrooms were clean though! Needless to say however, we wont be back.

Great location for accessing both ends of the park, like that there is no cell or wifi service so we can actually be present with our family.

Double site was pretty roomy so you can set up more than 4 tents plus park 3 cars, but you need to pay extra for 1.I was surprised that we can grab any wood and put on a fire so the people in the tent next to us were chopping wood with an axe all day, and it was extremely noisy.

Pretty roomy to set up more than 2 tents.you can park 2 cars but need to pay extra.Since we visited 4th of July, there were a lot of people so toilet needs to be cleaned more often though.

If you can get over the composting toilets thing, you'll have the most relaxing camping you can ask for in the High Sierras Nat Parks. A 20 min drive to the very tourist-y sequoia grove, and also a 45ish min drive down to the bottom of the surprisingly awesome and peaceful Kings Canyon. Everyone, including families with young kids, should go to Kings' Canyon "Road's End" (lots of services), and do the 1.5+ mile easy hike to the meadow and back, then put your feet (strong current) in the river at Muir Rock. So glad we didn't miss this hidden gem!

i been staying for more than 30 years and its still one of the best spot in the redwoods, half way from everything. shaded and perfect.

Site #36 was a very large site right next to a little creak with no neighbors behind. It was really quiet and I highly recommended it for tent camping. There is a nice large level space for your tent near the picnic table. The bathrooms (vault) were exceptionally clean and well stocked with toilet paper. There was fresh water available near the bath houses that we used for dishes. The location of this camp is between the two parks but a little closer to Kings Canyon which we liked better due to fewer crowds. Overall we were happy with our site and this campground and would recommend staying here.

Great campground, although the 10pm silent time was not respected

I stayed at site 12, which was secluded enough. You have to walk down a gentle slope from your car to get to the tent and camping area, but it's easy. Campground is OK. I'd recommend it.

Nice campground, clean bathrooms, flat and level tent sites. Had a lovely time hammocking by the creek after my hike in SEKI. :-)

Only real issue we had was being so close to the HWY we go to sequoia almost every year it is our favorite NP there is so muck to do there

Great campsite! Very clean bathrooms. The campsites are spacious and a bit away from other campsites. My family and I had a great time!

Enjoyed camping near a stream and hearing the rushing water and being near bathrooms. Very large level site among the trees. Campsites fairly spread out from each other. Rustic and quiet.

Overall good. Campsites are close together but you don't feel like they are right on top of you. Our site backed up to a little creek which was nice. Pit toilets but very clean. Best sites along the river.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
