Very quiet mid-week! Bathrooms clean!

We love this campground and have visited a number of times. Unfortunately there was a large party of young adults next to us that played loud music and talked late (whooping and laughing) into the night. As we were in a tent we heard everything despite being two campsites over. I was disappointed that the onsite staff did not ask them to quiet down. It completely ruined the experience for us. I wont be back!

We have been to Vallecito Reservoir 4 times now. It is a beautiful place to get away. This was our first time at this specific campground. We had site 18, I would consider it lakefront. It was a very short walk down a small hill to access the lake. Specified back in spot will put your door on the "wrong" side, so we cleverly backed in to a different area of 18. It did put us on the dirt instead of graveled area. For us, it was worth it. There was no water available, but we knew this ahead of time and planned accordingly. Water was available at the nearby Graham Creek Campground. Vault toilets were very clean and smelled Great! There is no camp host in this campground. Site 10 would be the prime spot (for access to the lake). Our site was a close second.

Excellent campsite! The cleanest pit toilets I've ever experienced. I had sites 6, 7 and 8 for my family. There is a path from sites 6 and 7 that lead to the lake. Plenty of shade and the weather was perfect during July 4th. I was worried about mosquitos but it was minimal during the weekend. 1st night was warm but 2nd night was colder, and there is cell service. Highly recommend this campsite.

The campground itself is in one of our favorite camping areas. The view of the lake is incredible from this site.

Beautiful location. Be careful how you enter the campsites with a trailer. Several sites are facing the wrong way for backing in. Several water systems were down at the time. Fill you tanks at other sites.

Beautiful site along the lake and well cared for. Fresh water was not available.so best to bring your own or run over to Graham Creek daily.

The water was not turned on for the campground. I had to go to Graham Creek campground to get water. The price I paid should have included that amenity. I think a discount would be appropriate.

I dont think Ive been to a cleaner campground. The host did an excellent job preparing each site for expected campers. Outhouses were plentiful and exceptionally clean as well. Well definitely be back for more in the future.

Great campground and easy to get to the lake via the little paths all over. There's a hiking trail that runs next to the campground and goes a couple miles up and down the lake. Lovely views. Only thing I can think to improve would be to add some more native shrubs for privacy from other campsites. No showers but maybe the other campgrounds nearby would be okay with borrowing theirs?

Absolutely beautiful site located right on the edge of the lake. Everything was clean and fresh. Restrooms were clean and it wasnt really crowded. Really nice site recommend.

Don't tell anyone about this gem. I love that it's so close to my home but a world away. The three campgrounds on Vallecito Lake are a great place to recreate, chill, and hang out with friends.

What a beautiful spot to spend some time in nature. Very few people there on a Wednesday, so quiet and spacious. I'd love to go back with more time and some fishing gear. Highly recommended.

Great campground and site. Lake was the highest in years which resulted in a lot of mosquitos, but overall very nice.

Great location surrounded by pine trees, with a short walk to Vallecito. The water in the lake is low, so fishing wasn't as good as I'd hope, but on a better year it would be enjoyable.

This is a beautiful campsite with a fabulous host. There are access points to get to the lake from your forest sites with a field of butterflies and flowers in between. I'll definitely go back!

We had a great time at North Canyon campground. The campground hosts, Paul and Louise were exceptional. They made sure the campground was tidy and well maintained. The trail that connects the campgrounds is a lovely walk in the woods.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
