Hilltop Campground is located in the Bradshaw Ranger District, Prescott National Forest (just 16 min southeast of Prescott, AZ) with an elevation of 5,704 feet. There are a total of 26 campsites including 1 tent-only site. The campground is normally open from the beginning of April to the end of October. 25 sites can accommodate RVs between 26 and 40 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Fees range from $18.00 to $36.00. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports, rock climbing.

Great campground. Host cleaned bathrooms regularly but sites needed raked and picked up desperately. Fire pits needed ash and trash removed. Stayed three nights and host had zero contact with us.

Hilltop Campground is one of my favorites. I try to make it out at least 3 to 4 times a year. It is so well kept up the Camp Host runs a great camp. He has been there for four seasons now and you can see that he really puts his heart and soul into the camp. Ive never had an issue here except for once and the Camp Host took care of it immediately I cannot highly recommend this camp enough. Some spaces are better than others. I prefer the spaces that you back into rather than park on the road. Scenery is beautiful. Water is readily available along with trash. I hope to come visit here many more times.

We stayed for two nights. The campsite was super forested and nice, it truly is hilltop and you look downwards as you frive around parts of the campground. bathrooms were pretty clean considering they are pit toilets, had some issues at arrival with another guest being in our spot staying from the night before, was not able to get in contact with the host that night but my fiance talked with them about their reservation and we were able to set up after they left, although pretty late. The host came that morning and was very nice and helpful and confirmed that we were not double booked on our spot. Overall a nice campground really close driving distance to lynx lake.

Camp site was very clean, nice and flat area for tents. Bathrooms werent far away and there were dumpsters to throw away your trash. I stayed in the B loop, theyre a trail you can take (steep at some points but has switchbacks). Only gripe was being so close to other camp sitesI could hear everything they were doing and saying so it felt a bit less private.

This was our first visit here and we loved it! The grounds and facilities were clean. The camps were spaced far enough away so you couldn't see and barely hear neighbors. We loved the picnic table and firepits too! We will definitely be back!

Super clean restrooms, tall trees, private large flat camp sites (#21 is my favorite for 20ft trailer), great camp hosts. Nearby Watson Lake for kayaking and canoeing while Lynx Lake is low for dam repair.

A great place to say price is reasonable. The lake was a little lower this year. Hopefully itll be full next year. Lots of space nicely. We have stayed there six or seven times.

The campground host for Loop B was very rude and should be fired. The toilets smell very bad.

Lynx Lake is very low, it has not recovered from the repair. All trails in and around the lake are open.

Campground was decent with some nice sites. Our site had very little shade and camper was too hot to be inside until bed time. Campground host was not attentive to bathrooms, we stayed two nights and never spoke with him and bathrooms were never cleaned while we were there.

Spread out spaces but not the largest lots. Ours had a small tent area but additional room to roam in the trees and hang a hammock. Would stay here again.

The site was good. We booked it for Friday and Saturday night. We stayed Friday night and went on a day trip to Crown King on Saturday leaving at 8:30am. We overland so all of our stuff is in or on our vehicle. We came back to the site around 4p and someone took our spot! They werent there so we find the camp host, and his response was, I wasnt here last night and they said they had the spot this morning. Why are we not checking reservation verification?!? The host put us in another spot which we didnt really enjoy because it had zero shade and was really set up for a 5th wheel. We enjoy this campground but please figure out a way to hold people accountable and stop them from taking spots from those who paid for them. Really disappointed.

Beautiful spot close to a trail. We were very happy that we brought a shade tent since it was direct sun for a good amount of the day. We were able to setup a hammock with the trees nearby.

Campgrounds were nice, but the lake was way Lower then the pictures showed, if you're handicapped. Don't bother going to fishing if you camp
