Beautiful area. Minimal road traffic noise the further in you camp. Close to Manitou lake, nice walking trails. Great campground host, clean, quiet and roomy.

The camp host woman needs to go!!!! I had a reservation for 7 days here, booked through rec.gov. The site I booked was terrible so I drove around looking for an open spot. She came to me on night one and told me to drive into town and cancel my reservation so I could pay her directly! What! She came by the next day and asked if I obeyed what she told me. I then canceled the remainder of my reservation and she told me I owed her for 2 nights - Intold her I already paid and she then told me to leave the campground early the next morning. There is something very wrong with her. I also noticed a lot of reserved sites that no one showed up for and she kept them reserved. Something fishy going on. Please fire her.

We had a great experience at Colorado campground. We stayed for two nights in July. The host was very friendly and greeted us shortly after arrival and provided a pass to be able to access Manitou Lake by car (we walked to the lake but never drove). The toilets were very, very clean although the site was close enough to them that we'd still smell them from time to time depending on the wind (only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5). We had an concern with the neighboring campsite going for a walk while their campfire was still lit (please remember to NEVER walk away from a campfire!). We let the hosts know and they were quick to put it out. There was a little more road noise than I had hoped but nothing too bad.

This campground was beautiful! We stayed here for two days mid-week at the recommendation of a friend, and Im so glad we did. The lake being within walking distance was great, and we took our dog for a morning walk around the lake. Good shade coverage, and some perfect hammock spots on the site.

Great campground. Bathrooms clean and grounds well kept. Barking dogs are an issue and no enforcement.

Quite area for most the time. Very close to Manitou Lake, about a 10 minute walk. There were more than a few children on bikes. Super great hosts, keeps an eye on whats going on but not in an obtrusive way! Accessible if you need or have question. Spotless toilets. One down side is the sites are pretty close together and from about any site you will see other sites (3-4)and tables.

Really nice campground in the trees. Nice walk to the lake. Very quiet.

Quiet and very easily accessible campsite. Lots of pull through sites. Many bathrooms. The only downfall was that the whole site was sloped (which was tricky for us tent users).

Chris and Kathy, the campground hosts are outstanding, wonderful people! They really care about their guests and take such good care of the campground. Love going there!

The campground is a little tight so finding that piece and quite won't happen at Colorado CG, at least on the inner loops. The positives are the campground is close to many adventures and hikes, a nice lake within a 1/4 mile and the campground hosts were wonderful.

Excellent campground with great spacing between spots. Nice access to the lake which is about a 5-min easy walk. Hosts are incredible and very accommodating! Only 2 spots have electric, so no camper amenities for most spots, but worth it. One of our favorites!

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. Even though it was a busy Fourth of July weekend, it didnt feel crowded since the sites are spacious. Its a nice short hike to Manitou Lake and we always enjoy that as well. We also love camping in all of the wonderful Ponderosa Pines:) Truly a haven up in the mountains.

Great sure site! Very spacious with a lot of trees on fire ring area. No shade in the morning for breakfast time though. Very close to the restroom and water.

Great location with access to the lake, nice picnic tables in each campground, nice fire pit in each space, toilets were clean, super friendly hosts.

Camp host was very friendly. Campsite was clean. Only drawback was a campers use of his/her generator that seemed to be louder than most used in a campground.

We had a wonderful time at Colorado Camp ground. The camp ground was well taken care of. The host was amazing and super friendly. All the bathrooms were well kept up and clean. We will definitely be back next year!

We had a great time escaping the front range heat. With Manitou Lake next door (lots of pelicans were resting there) and easy access to trails at Mueller State Park, it is a great place for a weekend getaway. The camp host was very friendly and attentive, too!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
