We were in Site 14, just a short walk from the Lake, and an even shorter walk from the toilet. Nearly level site. We thought it was the best in the campground. No dump station at any of the campgrounds on Turquois Lake, but not such a problem that I would deduct a star. Beautiful sunsets to the west across the lake.

Molly Brown is close to the mountain biking trails, which are very nice. There's a slight view of the lake from this site, and a very short walk. It gets windy in the afternoon, so the sites right on the lake can be challenging, but this one was sheltered and had pretty good privacy.

Have stayed there many times and this is the worst experience Ive ever had. No water (we knew that ahead of time). The fire pit was so full we could not start a fire. Someone before us had dug some ashes out and dumped them next to the pit. We were there four days and the restroom was not cleaned once. They only put new tp in. Saw the camp hosts one time as they drove through quickly. They never checked to see if we were in the right campsite or said hello. This used to be an adventure we looked forward to, but probably will not return.

Campground is easy to find and has great space in between camp sites. The host has plenty for firewood for purchase and the bathrooms were very clean.

We were next to restroom but it had a beautiful meadow behind us and was still private. . It was also very dry so was very dusty but this is a very beautiful campground. on

Excellent camping outside of Leadville, Colorado. The campsite was clean and well-maintained. We will definitely come back again in the future.

Amazing spot!! Right next to the water, clean restrooms and trash close by as well. Spacious and quiet, with good tree cover.

Absolutely gorgeous location and this particular site was great - just off the lake with an easy path to get there, and next to (but not downwind of) the bathrooms. The whole campground was incredibly clean, including the vault toilets, and the camp hosts (Drew and his wife, I didn't catch her name) were super friendly and helpful. There was a good bit of privacy between sites as well. We did encounter a TON of mayflies, which don't sting or bite but are attracted to light, so bring a bug fogger if you don't feel like dealing with them. Also, this particular site was shaded for most of the day but in full sun from about 1PM-4PM each day, so consider that if you want to be in your tent at that point. I can't wait to go back to Turquoise Lake as soon as possible!!

Had a great site! And the lake is beautiful! This was the second year in a row that there was no water at campsite. Hopefully they can get the system fixed. To reserve our site I got up early six months before and even then there was a limited amount of sites available. I found out that a lot of people book a whole week ahead and book a total of 14 nights. Then after a length of time the modify the reservation to only the last seven days (eliminating the first seven days). I was disappointed to find out that this was a common practice. The sad thing it doesnt allow everyone an even shot at camping. And when people book the first seven days and dont modify until a later date it eliminates others using those first seven days. Maybe a policy to discourage this practice if some modifies and eliminate dates on the front end of their reservation they should lose 50% of those first seven days. The only way they could get a full refund is to cancel the entire trip. And start all over!! Your rangers do a great job of monitoring the campgrounds!!!

Nothing too special or terrible about this site. Close enough to the lake. Small stagnant body of water 20m away allowed for skeeters. Id go back.

Molly Brown is a very nice campground with plenty of trees, shade and easy access to the beautiful lake. It's very quiet and no one bothers you. The only drawback there is NO water at any of the campgrounds. Our camper had 31 gallons and we brought in another 9 gallons, which was a pain, and still ran out after 4 days. The only dump station that we found around Leadville was $30.

BUGS! The ONLY reason its a 4 star is because of the bugs. Other than that it was a 5 star campsite. Take all the bug spray you can. There is a lot of standing water around the campsites.

I love coming to this campsite! It's so pretty right on the lake and everything is always very clean. The sites along the lake are stunning but can be windy at times with fewer trees. I have verizon and had very little cell service - about 1 bar down by the lake.

Beautiful setting. Easy access to site and leveling of RV. Wish we had booked a few more nights. We only stayed one.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
