As always, Marsha was wonderful, took care of everything we needed and kept the bathrooms clean and stocked. My issues came from other things like rising costs of parking and not having water available. But by far my biggest issue was the toilets this year, they were beyond full and most of the time you could smell them from the camp site. When complaints were made one toilet further up the loop got pumped but no others. I know it's a hole in the ground but it was absolutely disgusting this year.

Clean and quiet. Great little walk to lake and host had forewood.

Father Dyer is my favorite place to camp! However the issues with the water are a nuisance! Also the lack of emptying the outhouses is unsanitary! The host does an amazing job keeping them clean but the challenges to do so when they are full must be maddening! Please do something to help this little piece of paradise!

Lovely camp sight and Marcia the camp host keeps everything neat and clean. Only negative was having loud partying tent campers near by that ignore 10 pm quiet hours

Nice woods, 10 minute walk to the lake

One of our favorite spots - the campground is about a 5 min walk down to the lake but separate enough to not be bothered by lake traffic. The sites are pretty well spaced out with decent tree coverage. Theres no water at the campsite but town is maybe 15 min away if you need to grab some.

We reserved 3 campsites next to each other for our family/friends and we were all very satisfied with our weekend. Campsites were spacious, each had a table and fire pit, and we didn't hear our neighbors around us. Bathrooms were also very clean. We'll be coming back again next summer!

Gorgeous scenery, 1/2 mile walk maybe to Turquoise Lake. Close to town.

This campground is a short walk to the lake but also a bit sheltered from wind, which is nice.If you fish, please pack your trash out! We collected so much fishing line, lures, and hooks.

We really were lucky regarding the weather. Cool enough during the night that there were nearly no mosquitos and in the low 70's with a gentle breeze during the day. Great weather for hiking in both the mining district and around the lake.

This is a great campground for several reasons.It's nicely located with a trail to the lake and 20 minutes from Leadville.The camp host cares about the place and is on top of all the things - the bathrooms were spotless.This would be a great spot for a family...lots to do, in the shade and the lake is close by.

Campground was beautiful. Our site had plenty fo shade. The only complaint I have is that when making reservation, it read that we were allowed 2 vehicles and one RV. Upon arrival, host came around to collect for 2nd vehicle and showed me where it said on Rec. Gov that RV counted as a vehicle. It did not at the time. I think the site was updated after our reservation 6 months in advance. Marcia our camp host was very friendly and the bathrooms were super clean.

Campsites were great. Maybe a tad small, but not so bad cuz they were not too close to other sites. Camp host Marcia was great too. Bathrooms were super clean.

Campground is clean, restrooms always clean, camp host is so nice and accommodating. We go every year because this is such a great campground.

The site was fine, but the water issue really needs to be addressed. Either fix the water supply or reduce the fee, as this is a major amenity that isn't currently available.

Campground host Marsha does a great job year after year (this is her 20th year.) The toilets are kept very clean and stocked all the time. She sees that the campground rules are followed and educates customers. The campground itself is very nice and quiet with excellent shade and only a short walk to Turquoise Lake.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
