This was the first year tompkins campground was open past labor day. It did not disappoint. We were in coverage and the complete cove was booked. Where sometimes during the summer you see spaces empty. It was such a great time spent outdoors for fall. We truly hope tompkins campground can be open in years to come past labor day.

We LOVED camping this late in the season. I hope that it is something that you'd consider continuing next season.

Hope that you keep the campground open that late in the season or even a little later in the year. Always looking for places to go in October and November.

Wonderful campground So glad it has stayed open into October! We love fall camping

No Verizon cell service at campsite #23. Have to drive to boat ramp for spotty service. Lots of dogs barking the weekend we stayed. We will probably not return. Ives Run is a much better campground.

Was so happy this campground opened after initially stating they would be closed for the season. One of our favorites. Wishing they would state open later every season as they did this year.

What a great campground. The weather was perfect with very few campsites available. Host are friendly and plenty of firewood available. Thank you for staying open later this season.

Amazing morning view of the lake spots are a bit close to each other but not too bad, my only complaint is that there were a lot of people with dogs from the tv side that walked to the tent side and did not clean up after their dogs

Big lake, nice campground, most sites have electric and water, some with sewer. Clean bathrooms. A few hiking trails. About 35 min drive to Wellsboro .

beautiful area. Bench sites are wonderful. quiet most of the time. sites are large and spaced nicely. waterfront sites are especially nice. campground hosts were out and about, cleaning sites up, even blowing leaves off of parking pads. our site was clean and they are very well maintained. will definitely camp here again. no issues parking our 5th wheel on the site. plenty of room, no issues leveling.

Tompkins is a beautiful campground. We stayed in three different sites because of a mess up by me. But every site was nice. Our last one, #5, we got pelted with acorns. Maybe not best for September. Beautiful lake, nice walks, campsites spaced well. Would go back for sure!

Spacious wooded campsites near a beautiful lake. The host was very helpful. Cell coverage was poor with Verizon so it helps to have a reservation before arrival. Nice bathroom facilities.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Bathrooms were clean and our site was well maintained. We visit the lake often but havent camped before and we were very pleased to finally give it a go. We will definitely be back!

Great place to camp. It is about 7-8 minutes hike one way from hike-in campground parking. Hauling your gear up and down from the parking can be a pain but the site is absolutely worth it. I would recommend having a trolley to haul your stuff. We stayed 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Will definitely return. RV and main campground is 2 minutes drive from hike-in campground parking.

One of the most beautiful and well cared for campgrounds we have stayed at. We would love to be able to stay here through Oct.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
