Cedar Lake Campground is located in the Choctaw Ranger District, Ouachita National Forest (1 hr 1 min southwest of Fort Smith, AR) with an elevation of 1,021 feet. There are a total of 51 campsites including 4 tent-only sites. The campground is open all year. 4 sites can accommodate RVs between 25 and 70 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 33 sites have electric and water hookups. 1 site has electric hookups. Fees range from $15.00 to $40.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, boat ramp, swimming, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, hiking trails, floating sports.

I stayed in the equestrian camp. I was impressed with the respectfulness of the quiet hours, the camp hosts checking that all was OK, and the cleanliness of the restroom/shower house.

Very clean all throughout the campground. Quiet with great views. Great fishing. I tented. Very level pads in all sites in the beach area. Ran an extension cord for electric heater.

Great, quiet camping. Our campground had the water heater break a week or two before we came, so we had to go to another campground that had hot water for showers. Camp hosts were very helpful and available. Great restaurants within 15 minutes of the park: Southern Belle, Mamaw Bs, a very good Mexican restaurant. Antique shops in nearly every nearby town.

This was our 11th trip back to Cedar Lake. We absolutely love it. Great campsites, great trails and a wonderful camp host. Making plans to go back in November!

This time of year was beautiful. The dogwoods were blooming and the trees were just starting to leaf out so we could still see the mountain views. The weather was great and the camp host is very friendly.

Except for sewer hook-up, space # 30 was great for us, because we had our grandkids. It was by the beach, parking lot, bath rooms, fishing dock. We loved it.

I love this place so much! The womens bathroom needs some work though. Its gone down hill substantially and over the past two years.

This is an amazing campground!! The facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff was knowledgeable of the trails. Maintenance was quick to respond when I had a problem with my outlet. Highly recommend this campground for anyone with horses. The terrain is really rocky so plan accordingly.

Great place to go whether you are looking for a quiet romantic getaway or a place for the entire family. There is also multiple things you can do such as walking trails, fishing, a rifle range, and exploring off road trails in a vehicle.

Cedar Lake is a beautiful place. The lake is pretty and they have nice trails. We came in on a Tuesday. We had an RV site with water and electric. However, when we got there, we were informed that there was no water. It had been off since the day before. We could have dealt with that, however, the bathhouse was closed also. You had to drive over to the next campground for bathrooms and showers. Water was back on within an hour us our arrival--the camp host called and had it turned back on. They had turned it off the night before because they thought it might freeze and just forgot to turn it back on. The camp host was super nice! We enjoyed the campground. But there is absolutely NO internet or phone service at all if you have ATT. you have to drive 5-10 miles up the road to get any calls. They really need to have WIFI access for the campground. Overall, a pretty place, just plan to be a little bit on the primative side, even if you have a water/electric site lol

our campsite was the only muddy one, it would have been nice to change it. Bathrooms/shower didn't have heat. Park and scenery were nice for a cool day.

We love Cedar Lake. Very clean bathrooms. Nice big spots for large rigs. The trails are awesome and the campground host is super nice. We are making plans to go back over Easter.
