the place where you place your payment is a DISGRACE. It's so full of spider webs you can't read it. at Cedar Lake beach the glass covering was about an inch fallen down so the spiders had easy access. Maybe camp hosts could clean it just once a month but it's an embarrassment that Oklahoma looks like this

Leeches all over our feet when using swim area!

Although hard to get into our RV spot because it was on an incline, once we were settled, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We fished and caught dinner two nights. We hiked the 3 mile trail around the lake. We explored the area on our motorcycle and especially enjoyed the Talimena scenic drive. It was quiet and peaceful.

Site 27. Gravel pad that kept the site dry. Bathrooms clean. Trail around the lake was beautiful. Poison ivy was rampant be careful. Quiet and camp hosts friendly. Loved it!

Had a great time. Spot 27. Our group had 26 and 28. Spot 26 fit a small travel trailer. All 3 were fairly level. Fishing dock behind these. Super calm small lake. Great hiking trail around the lake. Restrooms clean. Showers had good pressure and warm water. Camp host was excellent. Be careful when coming in to read signs. Make a left at stop sign to go to Sandy south shore. If you miss this turn youll have to turn around. Try doing it at the dump station before you got too far north. Watch low lying limbs! We had a great time and will be back.

Swimming was great, bathrooms clean, very remote away from all towns.

The park itself is very beautiful, sites are clean and spacious. Our site was overlooking the lake and was absolutely beautiful, the only complaint we had was the constant distractions from the camp host. Apparently they don't have good cell service either and would come outside rather often to make calls (via speaker), constantly coming and going in their noisy vehicles and hollering at each regularly. We came camping for peace and quiet, not to be constantly reminded or noisey neighbors (to be the camp host at that). Also, we came down during deer season and to hunt on the public land there. While we were staked out we heard several noises only to see that it was two trail riders passing through in dark clothing at dusk!!! Please if you come down to ride the trails during hunting season, please wear orange!!!

The Campground was not maintained. The grass was knee-high everywhere. The swim sight had sand which was nice but it also needed maintenance. The grass was way too high around the play area and the pavilion. Seemed like it could potentially be a place for snakes to linger. With kids, this made my experience poor. The bathrooms were clean and maintained well.
Also, more campsites need to be made available to reserve online.
