The camp host was rude. Causing our camping experience to be frustrating. I do not recomend staying at Wyeth.

Lovely site. Quiet and uncrowded. Close to the road and train and could hear both a bit during the night but otherwise no noise. Nice walks to the nearby waterfalls.

Wyeth is a beautiful place! Perfect location for biking/hiking, the sites are shaded and well spaced, and there are flushing toilets near the group sites. I would have given it 5 stars had it not been for the camp hostess. Her attitude from the beginning of our stay was uncalled for and she made us feel very unwelcome. We had a great time despite her attempts to derail our stay but she really put a damper on the overall mood. She even made up a story that we vandalized the restrooms and called the sheriff. The sheriff checked the restrooms and there was of course no sign of disorder so we were free to go. I hope she finds a different job so someone kind and compassionate can fill her position. It would have made all the difference.

We recently camped here this past weekend, which was the last weekend of June. The sites here are very spacious compared to the campgrounds were used to in California. This is a very small campground with only 13 regular sites and a few group sites. Regular sites are only $20 and you can get half off with a pass. Unfortunately there is no shower, but the bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. The camp host was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She answered all of our questions about the Columbia River Gorge and even recommended some great spots to eat nearby in Cascade Locks. Unfortunately we did notice that some teenagers from one of the group sites dumped an entire bucket of refuse from their RV all over the women's handicapped stall after the police came to their site to ask them to pick up their mess and quit making so much noise, which led to that stall being closed for the rest of the weekend. It's evident that this person is the one who recently wrote a bad review. How terrible that she not only taught her teenagers to trash the campground but then also tried to come for a Volunteer's job. Other than that, the rest of our neighbors were great. We loved the hike to the little waterfall right behind the campground. The same trail leads to the Gorge Trail 400, which leads to the PCT. Overall we're so glad we stumbled upon this gem of a campground in the Gorge and would definitely camp here again.

Bathrooms remained completely functional the whole time this year! (in the past this can sometimes be an issue with the very old plumbing system). I've been coming here every year for some time. its green, peaceful, quiet, protected from the worst of the wind, close to things like town but still feels like you are in nature (I did see a bear three years ago walk through the back of site 4!), and has cell service (could be a plus or minus, depending on your perspective). as a tent camper the no hookups is a bonus (less noise, although occasionally I hear a generator), the drive/path limits the size of vehicles that can enter. Most people are great about the noise as well, with just occasionally some kids up and a bit loud early. proximity to the paved trail is also a bonus. cascade locks is a favorite nearby spot for food or store basics.

Very convenient location. Campground plagued by poor signage and unlevel sites which cannot be researched online.

Wyeth is one of my favorite campgrounds on the Columbia Gorge. It is a small campground, situated in the forest. It is farther from the interstate highway and train tracks. Quiet and dark at night. It is immediately adjacent to the Historic Columbia Highway Bike Path, so a great starting point for a ride. Close to many other scenic highlights of the gorge. Water spigots are distributed around the campground. There is a centrally located bathroom with flush toilets.

Stay was okay, but there was never anyone in terms of staff or ranger or host at any time I was there if I had needed info or help.

Group site #1 is great location! Lots of flat place to use tents. 2 charcoal grills and 1 fire pit. Perfect for a large group.

The campground is in a beautiful setting. Sites were spacious and clean. I would definitely stay there again with the close proximity to many hiking areas.

Close enough to hear some freeway noise, but quieter than I thought it would be. Clean grounds and bathroom, easy dumpster for trash. Watch out for poison oak; there was a fair amount in early May. Camp host was visible and friendly!

Wyeth campground was a quiet comfortable little oasis right on the Columbia River Trail. I'm looking forward to my next stay there.

A beautiful park with nice sized camp sites and parking. The ground were kept looking very well cared for.The bathrooms were kept clean and stocked with supplies. Shower facilities and potable water would be a big improvement and the bathrooms could use a new remodel as everything is very outdated. I would definitely stay again.

The campground is small so it doesnt feel busy. Its quiet , even though it is near the freeway. Its an excellent location to ride the three sections of the Old Columbia River Highway Bike Trail which is why we came. Id like to come back when the water is back on.

Campground site was super clean. Not even a leaf on the ground which was amazing since the whole campground is in a forest! Bathrooms were clean but old and worn. Flush toilets and sinks were working even though notice said no potable water, so just dont drink it. Host was walking the campground a few times, hung out at her site outside so she was easily accessible if needed. But do be aware of the harsh curb on all roads. Its made of rectangular blocks mortared together about 6 inches tall. We were towing a 22 TT and didnt have any problems but could harder on longer setups. Make sure the angle to back into your spot has enough room to back up. Site 12 was roomy and had side by side parking spots. Perfect for a towing setup. Lots of shade throughout campground from the high canopy trees. If you want to try e-bikes, Bike the Gorge starts at the parking lot on the other side of the highway (could walk there or drive). Lots of fun even with a bum knee! Would definitely return here! Word of caution- the campground and the parking lot by the boat launch is sketchy. My hubby said its where boats and RVs go to die. Lots of abandoned things and long term unkept residents.

Great location for biking. Hiking trails close by but were closed for wildfires. We stayed in 07 with a 25ft trailer. Picnic table was on the wrong side.

Lovely campground! We stayed here for one night and had a great time. The bathrooms were clean and the campsite was spotless. The site was roomy and parking spot large enough for a couple of cars. Highly recommend this site!

Very clean toilets/bathrooms, campsites well spaced apart and provide lots of shade. Within half an hour of bike rentals, shuttle stops for seeing the falls, highly recommend.

The temporary water outage is a lie. Signage at the campground indicated it hasn't been in working order since Aug 2021. Campground itself was pretty, restrooms were well maintained, doors and flusher were difficult for the kids to operate independently. While we stayed 3 nights most people seemed to use it as a pass through site. Campsites were small but we'll maintained. The Emerald Falls nearby was a great walk from the campground.

Group site handled our collection of 8 with 4 vehicles well

Site 4 was a bit removed from highway and with the creek moving, didnt notice any noise. Was a clean and scenic overnight along the Gorge. Short and beautiful hike up to waterfall. Easy stop at Multnomah Falls nearby.

Camp host was great. Restrooms were in need of major cleaning. The toilets were clean but the room and stalls over all were not, dead bug debris everywhere, live spiders and spider webs everywhere. Light fixtures, walls, skylight were full on dead bugs. Did not look like the light fixtures, walls, skylight or ceiling had been cleaned in years. Camp sights were great but road is tight for trailers over 24 feet. We have 26 foot Hideout it was very tight getting around the turns. The road has curb stones that have sharp edges. Camp host told me two 28 foot trailers had torn the sidewalls out of there trailer tires riding up or coming off the curb stones this year. Overall very nice campground if they get the restrooms cleaned up.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
