Lovely site. Quiet and uncrowded. Close to the road and train and could hear both a bit during the night but otherwise no noise. Nice walks to the nearby waterfalls.

We recently camped here this past weekend, which was the last weekend of June. The sites here are very spacious compared to the campgrounds were used to in California. This is a very small campground with only 13 regular sites and a few group sites. Regular sites are only $20 and you can get half off with a pass. Unfortunately there is no shower, but the bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. The camp host was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She answered all of our questions about the Columbia River Gorge and even recommended some great spots to eat nearby in Cascade Locks. Unfortunately we did notice that some teenagers from one of the group sites dumped an entire bucket of refuse from their RV all over the women's handicapped stall after the police came to their site to ask them to pick up their mess and quit making so much noise, which led to that stall being closed for the rest of the weekend. It's evident that this person is the one who recently wrote a bad review. How terrible that she not only taught her teenagers to trash the campground but then also tried to come for a Volunteer's job. Other than that, the rest of our neighbors were great. We loved the hike to the little waterfall right behind the campground. The same trail leads to the Gorge Trail 400, which leads to the PCT. Overall we're so glad we stumbled upon this gem of a campground in the Gorge and would definitely camp here again.

Wyeth is one of my favorite campgrounds on the Columbia Gorge. It is a small campground, situated in the forest. It is farther from the interstate highway and train tracks. Quiet and dark at night. It is immediately adjacent to the Historic Columbia Highway Bike Path, so a great starting point for a ride. Close to many other scenic highlights of the gorge. Water spigots are distributed around the campground. There is a centrally located bathroom with flush toilets.

Stay was okay, but there was never anyone in terms of staff or ranger or host at any time I was there if I had needed info or help.

Very nice old campground with big, separated sites. Bathrooms could use an upgrade - no soap was provided which is preferred in order to keep transmissable diseases at bay. Showers would be a great addition!

Small campground with easy on/off access to freeway. Bike and hiking trails border the park. Convenient access to a few restaurants in Cascade Locks. We've been getting an ice cream cone at Eastwind Diner for over 25 years. Windsurfers have relatively easy access at Hood River.

IMPORTANT: We camp here frequently so don't let this scare you: This is a stop over campground with a large turnover, frequent hikers, etc. Valuables should be secured. Generators, gas cans, bikes, etc. need a lock or they *may* disappear.

This is amazing campground not too far from Portland. The campground is very well maintained and clean. The camp host are so friendly. We definitely will return. The noise from the highway is not too bad nor is the train whistle. It was a fun place to stay.

Staying at Wyeth Campground was perfect for me. The highway sound was present, but did not bother me. The campground was clean as well as the restroom. I was there by myself to do a 3 day silent meditation. During my breaks, I was able to hike to the waterfall on Gorton Creek, stroll around the campground and ride my bike from Wyeth to Starvation Creek and see the waterfalls along the path. I live about an hour away and I play and hike in the Gorge all the time. I never tire of the spectacular view and beauty of this place.

Good access to several trails, signs to the waterfalls or a map would have been a plus. Some interstate noise noticeable but with the evening breeze, was hardly louder than the wind in the trees. Slept well. In short, a nice quiet campground, with the Hosts doing an excellent job. There was a large group of campers nearby and the Hosts checked to see if their music was bothering us. It wasn’t but thought it was good awareness and proactive approach on their part to see if it was. We”ll visit again!
